I wrote the original of this article back on October of 2023.  Since then, much has happened and the danger is greater, so it’s time for an updated article.  Days ago, feckless FBI Director Christopher Wray again warned of imminent terror attacks:   

FBI Director Christopher Wray warned lawmakers Thursday that there is a growing fear among law enforcement officials of a ‘coordinated attack’ inside the US — weeks after an ISIS assault on a concert hall in Moscow killed 145 people and wounded hundreds more.

‘Our most immediate concern has been that individuals or small groups will draw twisted inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks here at home,’ Wray told a House Appropriations subcommittee.

‘But now, increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia concert hall a couple weeks ago.’  [skip]

‘As I look back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard-pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once,” he said in his prepared remarks.

‘But that is the case as I sit here today. This is not a point when we can let up.’

Translation: “We’re so busy arresting Americans the Mummified Meat Puppet Administration (MMPA) doesn’t like, so busy organizing censorship and harassing people for their Facebook posts, we have no idea what’s really going on, but even an idiot could see what’s coming, so give us more money, renew FISA so we can spy on Americans without warrants, and when we get hit, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” 

This happened on April 13th.

By the time the Mummified Meat Puppet’s first term ends in 2024, between eight and ten million illegals—that we know of—will be in America.  We haven’t vetted them, don’t know who they are or where they are.  Hundreds of thousands, likely millions, simply walked across the border without anyone seeing them. This despite various federal officials, including DHS head Majorkas and Vice President Harris, assuring us the border is “secure.”  And they’re just getting around to this realization:

Hundreds of immigrants on the federal terror watch list have been caught at the southern and northern U.S. borders in recent years, and national security experts say there is a real threat of a terrorist attack on American soil as a result.

With the conflict between Israel and the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas escalating, that threat has only grown.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s San Diego field office warns that Hamas may attempt to send individuals to the U.S. through the southern border.

“May?” “MAY?!”  And let’s not forget innumerable military age Chinese males who look like they posed for Chinese Army recruiting posters.  Perhaps guys like those who just got off that speedboat.

‘San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit (SDFO-FITU) assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to, the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border,’ an unclassified document from the office reads.

‘Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico.’

Lora Ries, a former acting deputy chief of staff for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, told The Center Square that there is a real threat from illegal immigrants connected to Hamas, the terror group that killed more than 1,400 in Israel and took dozens of hostages this month.

‘A terrorist attack facilitated or inspired by Hamas is absolutely a real threat in the United States,’ she said. ‘The visceral hatred toward Israel and America that’s on display here at home and around the world should be a wakeup call. Since Biden took office, millions of inadmissible aliens have flooded through the open borders and into our country from over 160 countries around the world – including those harboring terrorists.’

If the most transparent administration ever is willing to admit even that much, we can be certain of two things:

(1) The situation is much, much worse then they’re grudgingly admitting.  How do I know?  These are the same people who continue to say the border is secure as more than two million crossed the border in 2023 alone.

(2) Terrorists of all stripes, from terrorist producing countries, are already here, and have been for many, many years.

Oh yes, they’re already here…

Even our vaunted lawmakers are awakening, even a few d/S/Cs:

Lawmakers in Washington, D.C., are voicing new concerns about what the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel could mean for homeland security in the

United States given major vulnerabilities at the southern border.

Republican and Democratic members of Congress said more needs to be done to secure the U.S. southern border with Mexico after seeing how militants from a foreign terrorist organization broke across the Israel-Gaza Strip border and committed mass atrocities.

No!  Really?!

Who, gentle readers, do you think is organizing and provoking all those “spontaneous” mostly peaceful “protests” on college campuses across America, and in our d/S/C ruled cities?  Last week, in Dearborn Michigan, Islamists rallied:

Deport them all

At an International Al-Quds Day rally in Dearborn, Michigan, held on April 5, 2024 and streamed live on Dearborn.org on Facebook, protesters chanted: ‘Death to America!’ and ‘Death to Israel!’

Michigan activist Tarek Bazzi, who is affiliated with the Hadi Institute, said that it is not ‘Genocide Joe’ that has to go, referring to President Biden, but it is the entire system of the United States “’hat has to go.’ He Quoted Malcolm X, saying: ‘We live in one of the rottenest countries that has ever existed on this earth.’ Bazzi added that ‘death to Israel’ has become the ‘most logical chant shouted across the world today.’

Michigan Imam Usama Abdulghani, who is also affiliated with the Hadi Institute, said that the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini established the International Al-Quds Day because he realized that Israel was a ‘cancer’ and an ‘evil settler colonialist project.’ He said that the ‘people of conscience’ recognize that Israel is ISIS, Nazis, and fascists. At the end of the rally, Tarek Bazzi encouraged a young child to lead the chant: ‘Free Palestine! From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free!’

This is the Jihadist vote a desperate Joe Biden is betraying Israel and western civilization to get.

Are we going to see another 9-11, another mass casualty attack?  It’s possible, but unlikely, because it’s unnecessary.  Terrorists, and the nations that sponsor them, the worst being Iran, which as this is written is directly attacking Israel, can rely on this:

(1) Our President is feckless and demented.  He neither deters nor frightens them.  It turns out saying “don’t” doesn’t deter Islamist madmen.  They can be reasonably assured active terror attacks throughout America will cost them nothing.  Iran’s proxies continue to attack our middle eastern military installations, killing and injuring our troops.  The Administration has only grudgingly admitted this, and has not responded against Iran though has done a few token air strikes against Syrian and Houthi Islamists, usually telling them first so they don’t get hurt.  I still can’t imagine why we’re having recruiting problems.

(2) Our police are disheartened and greatly reduced in number.  They can neither deter, nor effectively fight, terrorists.

(3) All the arms and ammunition terrorists need have been, and will be, easily smuggled across the border.  Islamist terrorists have many Latin American allies among nations and cartels.

(4) Anti-American regimes, such as China and many in Latin America, will provide all the intelligence terrorists need to carry out attacks, and it’s certain Chinese and Latin American military operatives and spies are already here and more are arriving every day.  When the time comes, they’ll all have pre-prepared target packages.

(5) Even single terrorists without such intelligence or target packages, like the recently arrested Idaho teenager, can carry out destructive attacks.

(6) American agencies responsible for detecting and preventing such attacks are ineffective and obsessed with persecuting Americans that present no threat to anyone and protecting the Biden crime family.  Terrorists are below their radar without even trying.  Go here for a brief, but illuminating article on this topic.

Terrorists already in the country?  Consider the July 14, 2023 attack in Fargo, ND(?!) by a Syrian Muslim, one Mohamad Barakat.  He ambushed the police at a traffic accident, killing one and wounding three.  Another officer quickly dispatched him.  To date, “authorities” claim they have no idea of a motive.  The article ends thus:

Now, Mohamad Barakat may have had entirely different reasons for his attack. But the possibility that this was a jihad terror attack in Fargo, North Dakota, cannot be dismissed out of hand, even as authorities appear disinclined even to consider it as a possibility. The FBI and the entire Biden regime have never given any indication that they’re aware that the global jihad continues. Unfortunately, it does.

There are, without question, innumerable terrorists and terrorist cells throughout America, with more coming across the border every day.  A substantial number of Syrians on the Terrorist Watch List have recently been caught at the southern border.  Our outnumbered and emasculated Border Patrol cannot possibly catch them all.  This is particularly true because Biden has been flying illegals, more than 300,000 that we know about, directly into the country, all without vetting, and all to help avoid bad optics at the border.  Despite “fact checkers” claiming it never happened, the Administration has tacitly admitted it. 

Terrorists need not commit spectacular attacks like 9-11 to wreak havoc, to spread terror: they rely, with justification on the conviction government cannot protect Americans, and doesn’t want, nor will it try, to protect them.

What kinds of attacks can we expect?  As Niels Bohr noted, predictions about the future are tough, but our potential future is not hard to see.  I recently wrote about one in A Jihadist Attack On An American School: Coming To A School Near You?  It’s a fictionalized account of several terrorists attacking an elementary school with small arms and explosives.  Terrorists are fond of attacking schools elsewhere.  We’ve been lucky thus far.  But schools are far from the only soft targets in America.

Imagine the chaos created by small groups of terrorists, no more than pairs, if they began attacking wherever Americans congregate.  Imagine if those attacks were coordinated on a single day:  a church in Massachusetts, a grocery store in Maine, a school in Alabama, a daycare in Kansas, a theater in North Dakota, a park in New York City, a college in California, a recreation center in Utah and on and on.  The body count need not be anywhere near the nearly 3000 on 9-11 to cause panic.  Do this more than once and Americans would begin to understand the daily lives of Israelis.

Kurt Schlichter also gets it.  In February of 2024 I posted a review of his book The Attack. It’s a brilliant exposition of the aftermath of coordinated terrorist attacks throughout America, which Schlichter predicts will happen just as I’ve predicted.

Even our CONUS—Continental United States—military bases could easily be targets.  Most people don’t know the only people on those installations regularly armed are on-duty military police.  Off-duty they’re as disarmed as every other service member.  They pick up their handguns at the armory before they go on duty and turn them in when their shifts end.  Most of our installations are protected only with chain link fencing, and a few military police troops guarding a few entry points.  Those troops are armed, with few exceptions, only with handguns.

But what about the police?  What about them?   As regular readers know, most Americans would be shocked to learn how few officers are actually on the streets at any time in their communities, and I’m not speaking of the blue states and cities where police forces have been seriously depleted and remaining officers are terrified to do their jobs.  No American police force is overstaffed.  Most, even in red states where they’re allowed to do their jobs, are understaffed.  There are barely enough officers, usually not enough, to adequately staff patrol shifts, and that’s when people aren’t out sick, on vacation, or unavailable for any number of other legitimate reasons.

Those that have read my articles on school attacks know police response times—and that’s just for the first officer to arrive in the parking lot—average 15 minutes, an eternity when even a single domestic, non-ideological shooter, employing common, semiautomatic firearms is attacking.  Imagine how much worse things will get when the attackers are multiple Islamist madmen wielding grenades, explosives, and automatic weapons?

Farfetched?  Alarmist?  Remember what I said about our federal protectors.  They wouldn’t be issuing any warnings unless they knew we were about to be hit.  They’re covering their asses.

But what about the FBI?  What about DHS and all the rest?  Don’t they have highly trained SWAT teams?  Indeed they do, and they’ll be on the scene—days later if at all—when terrorists hit the Red Lobster in Billings, Montana, or a high school basketball game in rural Indiana.

I’m not denigrating the police.  Police work was my first career.  I’m merely noting the realities of manpower—actually, lack of manpower—time and distance.  Most cops would love to heroically stop such attacks, but there are very few of them, loads of criminals and terrorists, and oh so many of us, unaware and unprepared.  Besides, the police have no legal duty to protect any individual citizen.  Go here to discover why not.  For more information on the limitations of relying on the police for personal protection enter “school attacks 2023” in the SMM home page search bar.  Read the whole series.  Its lessons apply more widely than schools.

The truth, which an ever-increasing number of Americans are learning, is we’re our own first responders.  We’re the people on the scene, then and there, when any kind of crime occurs.  With a very tiny number of exceptions, the police will be there in time only to do crowd control, collect evidence, and help EMTs and funeral directors carry bodies.

Final Thoughts: Terrorist attacks are coming.  Our mortal enemies know Joe Biden and his handlers are idiots.  They’re not deterred by Biden, think our military is a paper tiger, and believe we won’t do a damned thing when they attack, and they’re right.  When attacks occur, the police won’t be there, nor will the FBI, Homeland Security or our military.  We are all on our own.

Arm yourself with an effective weapon you’ll be able to carry pretty much everywhere.  I carry a Glock 43X MOS with a Crimson Trace Green dot electronic sight.  It would even be wise to carry a long gun and many magazines wherever you go.  Not openly, at least not yet.  That would cause excitement, but have one quickly available if it’s needed.

Get professional training, training beyond a basic NRA course, training not only about how to manipulate your handgun and long gun and accurately shoot, but about when you’re legally allowed to shoot.  Andrew Branca’s book, The Law of Self Defense, is indispensable, essential, reading.  And then develop situational awareness.  Be always aware of your surroundings, and always ask “what if?” What do I do if that odd-looking guy draws a gun?  What do I do if that ditzy woman on the cell phone starts to drive over me?  How do I approach my parked car to prevent a carjacking?  What do I do if a gunman comes through the restaurant door (Which I’ve positioned myself to be able to see)?  Where are the other exits?  Where is concealment or cover (and what’s the difference)?  What do I do when I see three guys who don’t look like they’re from around here loading AK-47s in the WalMart parking lot?  Be always prepared to improve your tactical/fighting position.

Paranoia?  No.  Necessary survival skills in a nation and world devolving toward barbarism, and particularly in a country that gladly admits terrorists and lies about their presence and intentions.
