Have you, gentle readers, heard of Washington Post Reporter David Fahrenthold? If not, read on, and as you do, remember: he is among the elite that believe themselves uniquely qualified to establish gun policy–policy: you don’t get any–for the great unwashed of flyover country.
It seems Fahrenthold–remember, he’s writing this–pointed a toy gun at his eye, and then…from his tweet:
You see? You see why we must obey our betters?
Yup. Of course, we hope for a complete recovery for Mr. Fahrenthold, and perhaps an extension of the humility he demonstrated in his tweet that encompasses respect for the Second Amendment, law-abiding gun owners, and gun safety.
