I suspect, gentle readers, you’re aware of the particularly vile California congressman, Eric Swalwell. Swalwell, back in 2018, told the nation it would be foolhardy to dare oppose government gun grabbing because the government has nuclear weapons. Despite his protestations to the contrary when that particular mini-nuc blew up in his face, Swalwell actually threatened to use nuclear weapons against Americans who do not want to lose their Second Amendment rights. Swalwell walked that back, saying he wasn’t really threatening to use nucs. I’m sure he just meant he’d send heavily armed SWAT-type federal agents to the doors of Americans refusing to surrender their rights and shoot them and their families to death instead. See? That’s much sane, diverse and inclusive.
Swalwell, a protégé of the senile, nasty and anti-American Nancy Pelosi, is a member of the House Intelligence Committee, and as such, has access to many of America’s most sensitive secrets, and what we know about intelligence operations run against America and Americans, which is where we take up the story, via The New York Post:
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) is refusing to say if he had sex with an accused Chinese spy who cozied up to a slew of US elected officials, including him, in a bid to infiltrate the US political system.
The 40-year-old congressman was among a group of Bay Area Democrats targeted by the honeytrap — also known as Christine Fang — who entered the US as a college student in 2011 and spent the next four years wooing the lawmakers to get close to sensitive government intelligence, according to a report in Axios.
We should clarify the term “honey trap.” This is a common intelligence tactic, widely used by our enemies, and one presumes, also by us. An intelligence agency uses beautiful young women, sometimes intelligence agents, sometimes not, to entice their targets into sexual relationships. Virtually always, their sexual acts are stealthily videotaped. It is not, therefore, accurate to call the women participating in compromising their target a “honey trap.” More accurately, they are intelligence agents or assets involved in springing a honey trap.
Sometimes the video is immediately exploited for blackmail, sometimes not, but the threat of blackmail is always present. It’s also common to get their targets to accept money, which, with video, cements a target’s connection to the foreign spy service because they know if caught, they’re going to prison for a long, long time. Often, foreign intelligence agencies will exploit known sexual vulnerabilities/perversions or illegal habits of their targets, providing underage children for sex, providing for other deviant desires, or enabling crimes, which is even better blackmail material. This is one of the primary concerns regarding the Biden family. Apart from their provable financial entanglement with China and other hostile nations, there have been suggestions of the Chinese and others providing cocaine and women, and even underage girls, for Hunter Biden.
One thing is absolutely certain: anyone caught in a honey trap is absolutely compromised, and can never again be trusted with even the lowest level of information.
Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, has cooperated with federal investigations into Fang, according to his spokesperson.
‘Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI,’ Swalwell’s office told Axios. ‘To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story.’
And Swalwell’s office relied on the ‘classified information’ line when Fox News’ Tucker Carlson questioned them about whether the California Democrat engaged in sexual relations with Fang.
‘His staff replied by saying that they could not comment whether Swalwell had a sexual relationship with Fang, because that information might be, quote, classified,’ Carlson said on his show Tuesday night.
Nonsense. If Swalwell had sex with Fang—which is highly likely—that fact would not be classified, but would certainly be embarrassing, not only for Swalwell, but for the D/S/C Party and its media propaganda arm, which always hides negative information about D/S/Cs. This is, however, part of the double standard under which Republicans labor. When D/S/Cs are target by foreign spy agencies, they are immediately given a defensive briefing by the FBI. They’re protected and virtually never prosecuted regardless of what they’ve done. When Republicans are targeted, they do not get defensive briefings. The FBI, rather, attacks them and uses whatever information it can get against them and Republicans higher up the political chain, like President Trump.
Swalwell, in an interview with Politico, also sidestepped the question about how intimate he was with Fang, who intelligence officials said had sex with at least two Midwestern mayors as she tried to get information from them.
‘As the story referenced, this goes back to the beginning of the last decade, and it’s something that congressional leadership knew about it,’ Swalwell said, referencing his sensitive position on the House Intelligence Committee.
But while Swalwell said he has cut off all contacts with Fang, his father, Eric, and brother, Joshua, still have the honeytrap listed as a friend on their Facebook pages.
Take this link for an Axios story that goes into considerable detail about this situation. Swalwell was not the only California politician caught in this particular honey trap.
It is here, gentle readers, we come to very serious issues. It is a virtual certainty Swalwell provided Fang with information useful to the Communist Chinese. Whether he did it knowingly and willingly, one can be certain Fang was skilled at her trade—the Chinese actually train young women in every technique, including sexual techniques—and was able to play Swalwell like a cheap violin. He surely at least unwittingly—his default—provided useful information, otherwise Fang would have dropped him like the dimwit he is.
D/S/C immunity would prevent the FBI and DOJ from prosecuting Swalwell, and likely, even looking too deeply into what he did. However, it is absolutely clear Swalwell is compromised. We can never be sure exactly what he gave Fang, whether he is telling the truth about his relationship with her, what he gave her, and whether he is a continuing blackmail threat. In a sane government, he would be forced out of congress by his own Party. At the very least, he would never again be allowed access to any information of any intelligence value. He would certainly never be allowed to be on any intelligence committee, yet Pelosi has steadfastly defended Swalwell, and refuses to remove him from the House Intelligence Committee.
Donald Trump Jr., meanwhile, questioned Swalwell’s seat on the House intelligence panel, saying the congressman should be considered a national security threat because he might have been compromised by his relationship with Fang.
Trump Jr. is being kind. Swalwell, who had a two-year relationship with Fang, is absolutely compromised.
‘We shouldn’t be surprised that the media being silent on this issue which is truly a national security threat while this man sits on the House Intelligence Committee,’ the president’s oldest son told Carlson.
Trump Jr. also noted how Swalwell was among the Democrats who constantly harped on President Trump’s alleged connections to Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign, which were subsequently deemed to be unfounded.
‘I appreciate you calling out Eric Swalwell as somebody who was probably the number two recipient of these tinfoil hat brigade attacks about Russia for years,’ he told Carlson.
“I find it very ironic that he was perhaps sleeping with a Chinese spy, certainly one that had infiltrated his inner circle,’ Trump Jr. continued.
Swalwell, as is the default with corrupt D/S/Cs, is blaming TRUMP!!!!!
‘I’ve spoken out against him. I was on both committees that worked to impeach him. The timing feels like that should be looked at,’ he told the news outlet.
‘What it appears though that this person — as the story reports — was unsuccessful in whatever they were trying to do. But if intelligence officials are trying to weaponize someone’s cooperation, they are essentially seeking to do what this person was not able to do, which is to try and discredit someone,’ Swalwell insisted.
In a softball interview Wednesday on CNN, he said he had not shared any information with Fang before he was notified by the feds.
‘Well, I know that I didn’t, again I can’t talk too much about the details of the case even though others may have violated their oath. I’m not going to violate mine, but the Axios story made it absolutely clear that no information was ever shared,’ he told the network.
No, it doesn’t. Take the aforementioned link. In the world of espionage, it must always be presumed someone like Swalwell did share information, has blackmail information hanging over their head, has powerful incentives to lie about their actions, and therefore, can never again be trusted. Such people are forevermore, compromised. What’s that you say? Swalwell is only a small time congressman? He ran for president in 2020. Even the D/S/Cs weren’t interested in him, but he’s playing in the big leagues. Don’t for a moment doubt the Chinese look ahead and help groom people like Swalwell in the hope they’ll have access to more power they can use.
Swalwell also said he was ‘shocked’ when the FBI informed him about the threat.
‘You know, just over six years ago, I was told about this individual, and then I offered to help, and I did help. I was thanked by the FBI for my help and that person is no longer in the country, and I was a little surprised to read about my cooperation in that story because the story says that, you know, there was no … there was never a suspicion of wrongdoing on my part,’ he said.
Suuuure he was shocked. I’m nominating him for the Louis Renault Award. Renault was the French police Captain who was “shocked, shocked! to learn there was gambling gong on at Rick’s (played by Humphrey Bogart) Place, and moments later was handed his gambling winnings. China is absolutely raping us in the espionage war, but we’re supposed to be concerned about the revelation of Swalwell’s assistance of that rape? Swalwell had a years long intimate relationship with a beautiful, young Chinese national who bumps into him out of thin air, bundles money for him, bumps–ahem–other things, and he hasn’t the slightest idea she’s an intelligence asset? If he’s really that stupid, which is certainly possible, that’s merely another reason why he should not be in Congress and must be considered compromised. Oh, and she’s “no longer in the country,” because she is a spy and knew the FBI was about to arrest her. One wonders if Swalwell tipped her off?
‘And all I did was cooperate, the FBI said that yesterday, but the wrongdoing here is that at the same time the story was being leaked out is the time that I was working on impeachment on the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees and if this is a country where people who criticize the president are going to have law enforcement information weaponized against them,’ Swalwell continued.
Riiight. President Trump and the leadership of the Congress knew about this for years, so President Trump waited until weeks before he may be leaving office, after the election, to leak this information. And what, exactly, is this “weaponization” of law enforcement? Does anyone with any sense think the FBI would dare go after a D/S/C, particularly a sycophant of Nancy Pelosi? There is no indication whatsoever Swalwell is in any legal trouble. I mean, what kind of nation is it when a dim-witted congressman can get caught in a honey trap and suffer absolutely no negative effects from his stupidity? Who would want to live in that kind of nation?
Scott Johnson of Powerline adds some context:
Axios reporter Jonathan Swan commented on Swalwell’s spin last night on Fox News. Swan observed that Swalwell’s claim is ‘risible.’ He exhorted viewers to use their common sense:
‘Even Swalwell acknowledges that he first found out Axios was on this in 2019. I know my colleague — his timeline’s wrong. He says July 2019, it’s not July. But [the Axios reporter who broke the story has] been working on this for more than a year. So, just anyone who has any passing understanding of how Trumpworld works, do we really think that they put out some opposition research and then patiently wait[ed] a year, beyond an election, for the very well-respected China correspondent to report it out in a nuanced fashion? I mean, give me a break. It’s completely absurd.’
Hmm. So Axios has been working this story since mid 2019? Apparently President Trump’s supposed leaking of this story is old news, and was apparently entirely unproductive for Mr. Trump.
Final Thoughts: Swalwell was not the only California politician caught in this particular honey trap, but he is likely the most dangerous to national security. There appears to be no indication Swalwell is useful in a counterintelligence sense, but it’s always possible there are things we don’t know about this. However, even as corrupt as the FBI must be presumed to be, they’re surely smart enough to understand they can’t trust Swalwell for two primary reasons: he’s stupid and they can never know exactly how he has been compromised.
Swalwell, for the good of the nation, must be removed from Congress and must be watched the rest of his days. Particularly if Harris becomes president—Biden is merely the bait in a massive bait and switch operation—the entire US government will be compromised by China. Chinese spying in America is ubiquitous and damaging. Sadly, a great many politicians are stupid enough to suck up to China without being compromised, but a great many are. The Chinese play the long game and are unified in their nationalism and goals. They’re playing 3D chess. We’re barely playing checkers, and D/S/Cs are bumping uglies.
