KelTec is an interesting company. They specialize in unusual guns, starting with a fresh sheet of paper and caring little for how guns are supposed to look, or how they’re supposed to be assembled, which has led them to the “clamshell” method of assembly, where the two sides of a handgun, rifle or shotgun frame are bolted together. It looks a little odd, even cheap, but it works perfectly well.
