When I establish a new category for this scruffy little blog I usually don’t know how many articles it will eventually contain.  The exception is articles that touch on social justice/woke pathologies.  I’m still writing about Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Freddie Gray and Michael Brown because so much about what continues to be written about them is utterly false, cherished d/S/C narratives about unholy social justice martyrs.  So it is with the Kyle Rittenhouse case.  The SMM Rittenhouse archive is here.  We begin at Townhall.com:

It’s been nearly two years since Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree intentional homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide. The case captured the nation’s attention, with the Left lusting to imprison this young man for doing nothing wrong. It was justified self-defense.

Our own Julio Rosas was in Kenosha, Wisconsin, when this incident occurred, part of the 2020 summer riots that became a topic of discussion for that year’s presidential election. Rittenhouse killed Anthony Huber and Joe Rosenbaum, who were no angels: Huber was a rapist and domestic abuser, and Rosenbaum was a pedophile [and quite deranged in general]. Yet, this case was dredged up because one of the witnesses, Gaige Grosskreutz, whom Rittenhouse shot in the arm when he pointed a gun at him, got hit by a car on September 2. It wasn’t just a little tap either—the man got trucked:

Mr. Grosskreutz also changed his name (via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel):

It’s been two years since Gaige Grosskreutz became linked to the deadly actions of one-time homicide suspect Kyle Rittenhouse, and he says he can’t shake them.

This week, Grosskreutz filed a secret petition to change his legal name — that was quickly reported by a conservative news outlet, prompting his call for a leak investigation by the Milwaukee County Clerk of Circuit Court.

Grosskreutz, 29, of West Allis, was shot in the arm by Rittenhouse on Sheridan Road in Kenosha on Aug. 25, 2020, minutes after Rittenhouse fatally shot two other men with the same AR-15-style rifle. The violence came on the third night of protests, looting and arson that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake Jr.

The driver has been arrested, and it appears that particular intersection sees many hit and run incidents.  What’s significant about this Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article is its omission of fact.  Rittenhouse, showing far more tactical sense and restraint that most adults, though knocked to the ground, did not fire on Grosskreutz until Grosskreutz pointed his handgun directly at Rittenhouse at nearly pointblank range.

The article goes on to admit Grosskreutz was holding a handgun, but says he really intended to merely “jump on” Rittenhouse.  Unfortunately, such hindsight mind reading isn’t available to people who are being chased and repeatedly assaulted by a drooling mob actually screaming for their blood.  When Grosskreutz, standing over Rittenhouse, pointed his handgun directly at him from inches away, Rittenhouse was legally justified in using like force to save his life, a point the jury understood, but media continues to obfuscate.  Not The Bee adds detail:

Remember Gaige Grosskreutz?

He was the establishment’s darling during the trial to make an example of Kyle Rittenhouse. Gaige, a convicted felon with a long criminal history, was illegally carrying a pistol that he pulled on Kyle Rittenhouse as the young man was trying to escape from the violent BLM mob in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the 2020 ‘Summer of Love.’

What “long criminal history?”  The Daily Mail does the reporting American media won’t touch:

The prosecution’s star witness in the Kyle Rittenhouse case had a criminal charge dismissed just six days before the trial’s start, meaning the jury had no insight into his extensive criminal record nor his history of lying to police, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger was well aware of this when he paraded Gaige Grosskreutz, 28, the third man shot on the night of August 25, 2020, as a paragon of selfless virtue. He was a paramedic, the court heard, just there that evening to provide medical aid, as he claimed to have done at countless other protests across the country.

In fact, DailyMail.com has learned, he is a violent career criminal with a laundry list of prior offenses and convictions stretching back more than a decade.

These include domestic abuse, prowling, trespass, two DUIs, felony burglary and two charges of carrying a firearm while intoxicated – one of which took place when he was banned as a felon from carrying a firearm.

He also has a history of showing disdain for the law by lying to, and failing to co-operate with, police.

But the Rittenhouse jury heard none of this.

Grosskreutz also has a sealed juvenile record. Take the link to read the entire, informative, article, which has copies of many police reports.  Regular readers will recall Grosskreutz was forced by defense lawyers to admit Rittenhouse did not shoot until Grosskreutz pointed his gun directly at him.  Back to Not The Bee:

Well, after Rittenhouse was acquitted and the Left failed to undermine the right to self-defense in America, ol’ Gaige decided to change his name to Paul Prediger.

On September 2nd, a black man named Marvin Thomas hit ‘Paul Prediger’ with his SUV in a Milwaukee crosswalk.

‘I went on top of the hood and then was dragged under and stuck underneath the vehicle for a good 20 feet,’ said Grosskreutz, who refused to give his name during the interview. He reportedly suffered multiple broken bones and a lacerated liver.

The poor perp can’t catch a break!

Karma is a bitch.

You may be thinking, ‘Why would you evil people at this silly website be doxxing this poor man, who clearly wants to be left alone.’

*First, Grosskreutz is a criminal with a violent history who is still attempting to destroy Kyle Rittenhouse’s life with another lawsuit based on ‘emotional distress.’

Second, though Grosskreutz told a judge he needed to change his name because of the ‘far right’ people threatening his life, he couldn’t help but play the victim in front of the camera for this news story!

Rather odd behavior for someone supposedly desperate to get himself and his identity out of public view.  Go here for more information on his attempt to change his name.

Final Thoughts:  Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong the night he shot Grosskreutz.  One may reasonably argue he would have been better off if he didn’t try to protect a business from destruction that night, but he had every right to do just that, including the willing permission of the business owner.  Do we want to live in a society that abandons the rule of law to violent d/S/C mobs, or would we prefer to live in a society that appreciates the selfless efforts of people like Rittenhouse determined to do what politicians and the police refuse to do?

And the lies live on.  Remember “hands up; don’t shoot?”  That was the principle social justice lie of the Michael Brown case.  It never happened.  In the Trayvon Martin case, George Zimmerman “profiled” Martin because he was black and wearing a hoodie.  That wasn’t true either.   In the Rittenhouse case, we continue to hear Rittenhouse “crossed state lines with a gun!”  That never happened either, and even if it did, it isn’t illegal to cross state lines with a firearm—at least not yet.

I take no pleasure in the injuries suffered by others, but I do not fail to see the poetic justice when career criminals like Grosskreutz reap the consequences of their destructive choices.  Was the hit and run mere happenstance, or justice beyond our capabilities to dispense?

Kyle Rittenhouse will likely never have a normal life.  He will forever more be pursued by the media and other d/S/Cs for daring to protect others and worse, for daring to defend his life from the criminal assaults of three thugs who any reasonable person would have believed intended to kill him.

I’ve no doubt this will not be the last article I add to this archive.  In such cases, there is never an end.
