Livin’ in a made up world…

President Joe Biden immediately corrected another gaffe during a speech on Monday in which he falsely claimed that an American hostage ‘being held by Hamas’ is now safe.

The president issued his gaffe during a celebration of Jewish heritage at the White House wherein he acknowledged Hersh Goldberg-Polin as being ‘here with us today’ even though he remains held by Hamas.

‘My administration is working around the clock to free the remaining hostages, just as we have freed hostages already. And here with us today is Hersh Goldberg-Polin,’ Biden said at the rose garden party.

Oh well.  He routinely sees dead people in audiences…

That was then, this is now:

Joe, the great civil rights pioneer…

Literally!

There’s a small difference between banning a book and keeping porn out of the hands of children.

Then why have things gone to hell since we discovered those “values?”

Folks protesting on January 6 where what, Joe?!

Aww, that’s just Joe unifying America again.

He said what?!

‘When I was Vice President, things were kinda bad during the pandemic,’ is not a thing former Veep Mike Pence said on Sunday. ‘And what happened was, Barack said to me, ‘Go to Detroit! And help fix it!’ Well, poor Mayor [Duggan], he’s spent more time with me than he ever thought he’s gonna have to.’

No, that was Presidentish Joe Biden speaking in Detroit on Sunday about things that never happened because Donald Trump was president in 2020 when the plandemic was launched out of China. Barack Obama hadn’t been in the White House for almost four years, and Biden was the former veep running for his party’s presidential nomination.

Stupid.  No.  No they can’t:

They believe in “truth” over facts:

Joe was born a poor, black, Puerto Rican, Greek, Irish Jewish child…

I just love the enthusiasm of the guy behind Joe…

Brave , Brave Sir Joe…

The U.S. and Niger issued a joint statement on Sunday that set a deadline of September 15 for the withdrawal of all U.S. forces. The departing American troops leave behind a $100-million military base built to support counter-terrorism operations in the Sahel region.

The disposition of Airbase 201 in Niger’s city of Agadez was left unclear in the joint statement, which held out hopes that the U.S. and Niger might be able to work on ‘issues of mutual interest’ in the future.

 …he bravely ran away.

Considering contemporary textbooks are doing away with everything but minority history, that’s a neat trick…

Oh yeah, that’ll unify America…

But other than that, Joe’s absolutely for Israel…

We’re so sorry you want to kill us…

The White House’s John Kirby continued parroting the Biden administration’s inexplicable condolences to Iran following the death of its President Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash over the weekend — but offered an even more confounding answer when asked whether the United States would be a part of the funeral.

n an on-the-record gaggle Monday, Kirby said ‘we certainly offer — as the U.S. government, offer our condolences,’ despite there being no need for the U.S. government to mourn the death of a president previously known as the ‘butcher of Tehran’ for sending thousands of innocent Iranians to their deaths after minutes-long ‘trials’ — not to mention the absurdity of sending sympathies for the man whose government made ‘death to America’ its official position.

According to Kirby, speaking on behalf of the White House and Biden administration, insisted that ‘offering condolences is a typical practice’ in the same breath he acknowledged that Raisi ‘was responsible for atrocious human rights in his own country’ including ‘the arrest and the physical violence against hundreds of protestors, for instance.’

‘No question this was a man who had a lot of blood on his hands,’ Kirby added before arguing that ‘as we would in any other case, we certainly regret in general the loss of life, and offered official condolences as appropriate.’

..but we’re idiots who can’t tell the difference between allies and enemies, so we’ll express sorrow at your long-overdue death.  Iowahawk got it right:

It’s hard being the WaPo:

Normalcy is bad!

This story will begin with a dictionary definition.

Merriam Webster defines the word ‘Dox’ as ‘to publicly identify or publish private information about (someone) especially as a form of punishment or revenge.’

That’s not a word you hear often in the sports world, but people were using it after seeing a social-media message from the city of Kansas City on Wednesday night.

Amid the furor about Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s commencement speechSunday at Benedictine College, the city of Kansas City’s official X account shared a message about where he lives.

‘Just a reminder that Harrison Butker lives in …’ the post said. Kansas City’s X account didn’t give out Butker’s address (thankfully) but did mention the area city where he apparently lives.

The message was deleted and the city soon posted this: ‘We apologies for our previous tweet. It was shared in error.’

Success is the best revenge.  The jerseys, male and female, are sold out.

What’s so wrong with supporting medieval barbarians who want to kill you?

Bernstein is the head of Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers…

…and now you know why the economy is so bad.

Kamala Harris is…

…a liar and really stupid.

You have no need to know, silly American!

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said Friday that it is not yet releasing the identities of two Jordanian nationals who attempted to breach a Marine Corps base in Virginia — something former officials say raises a number of possibilities about the case.

‘We cannot proactively release the names, as this could potentially affect their removal proceedings,’ ICE said in a statement.

Officials had confirmed Thursday that there was an attempted breach on May 3 at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia. A Marine base spokesperson said that two people in a box truck had been stopped at a gate.

So, illegals?  Terorrists? What?

I bet he was shocked…

Yoga? YOGA?!

White Americans who practice yoga are perpetuating the ‘continuation of white supremacy and colonialism’, a Michigan State University professor has claimed.

Religious studies professor Shreena Gandhi argued yoga has ‘flourished’ in the US from the ‘cultural void of white society, intimately mixed with white supremacy, capitalism, and globalisation’.

She said the ‘misappropriation’ of yoga did not constitute ‘life-threatening racism’, but urged ‘white people who practice yoga’ to consider the history of the practice in the US and its supposed links with ‘larger forces of white supremacy’.

We used to call this envy…

But Clark, who will lead the Fever against the Sparks on Friday at Crypto.com Arena, also stands out for who she’s not. In a league in which approximately 70% of the players are Black, nearly a third identify as LGBTQ and most come from urban environments, Clark is white, straight and from Iowa.

And that sets her apart even more than her shooting skills.

‘We would all be very naive if we didn’t say race and her sexuality played a role in her popularity,’ said Hill, now a contributing writer at the Atlantic and host of the ‘Jemele Hill is Unbothered’ podcast. ‘While so many people are happy for Caitlin’s success — including the players; this has had such an enormous impact on the game — there is a part of it that is a little problematic because of what it says about the worth and the marketability of the players who are already there.’

…and it’s still ugly.

Sane people call this…

…embezzlement.

Really…

What happens when a company’s brand is Orange Man Bad at a time when voters are deciding maybe Orange Man wasn’t so bad after all? If you’re the Washington Post, it means losing half of your readership in just four years — and a whopping $77 million just last year.

‘To be direct,’ CEO Will Lewis warned his staff today, ‘we are in a hole, and we have been for some time.’ The warning came as part of the big reveal of Lewis’s ‘Build It’ plan to restore the once-mighty paper to profitability.

…stupid.  There’s no indication what the “plan” will be, but it will surely involved lots more orange man bad.

The media has always been…

…stupid, too stupid to survive.
