With a 17 yard bucket, which the 998G can have, loading material at 2500 lbs per yard; gets you less than 12 scoops per Tesla battery if it really takes 500,000 lbs of whatever it digs for that. If it takes one minute per scoop, which is a pretty slow cycle time in production mining, that’s 30 gallons of fuel if the rate in the meme is accurate.
Sounds pretty reasonable if you do the math.
