Finally, after a year+, The New York Times admits what was always obvious, and the New York Post Editorial Board tries to shame the shameless:

Forgive the profanity, but you have got to be s–tting us.

First, the New York Times decides more than a year later that Hunter Biden’s business woes are worthy of a story. Then, deep in the piece, in passing, it notes that Hunter’s laptop is legitimate.

‘People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity,’ the Times writes. “Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

Authenticated!!! You don’t say. You mean, when a newspaper actually does reporting on a topic and doesn’t just try to whitewash coverage for Joe Biden, it discovers it’s actually true?

It was one of my favorite lines in Blazing Saddles: “Oh, It’s twue, it’s twue!”  The NYT, of course, isn’t the least interested in any of the truths on that laptop, but it’s a start.  This is good:

Candace Owens is a smart, lovely black conservative, so a NYT parasite—er, sorry, reporter—e-mailed her essentially demanding she prove she’s not a Putin stooge.  This reply is only one of several replies she made, all citing NYT articles and editorials.  As I’m sure you know, gentle readers, NYT reporters don’t actually read the NYT, nor, apparently, are they capable of using Internet search engines.  CNN is obviously equally intellectually challenged:

We all know inflation is caused by not spending enough money we don’t have:

Soaring gas prices are hurting Americans. It’s time for more stimulus checks

Opinion by Mark Wolfe for CNN Business Perspectives

Updated 9:54 AM ET, Wed March 9, 2022

That’s the headline; no more is necessary.  No, this is entirely believable:

House Democrats on Wednesday blocked consideration of a Republican bill aiming for U.S. energy independence from Russia amid the Ukraine war. A former environmental engineer now running for Congress in New Mexico condemned the move as ‘unconscionable’ in comments to Fox News Digital.

‘House Dems just voted against a measure by [House Republicans] to consider the American Energy Independence from Russia Act — a critical bill that would unleash American energy production,’ Rep. Stephanie Bice, R-Okla., tweeted Wednesday. ‘Clearly, Dems don’t care about solving our crushing energy crisis. Unbelievable!’

But of course!  With gas prices heading for $5.00 a gallon with warp speed, why would anyone want America to be energy independent again?  So what are D/S/Cs doing to deal with the gas price crisis?

But of course!  That’s been their goal since the Age of Obama.  Speaking of warp speed:

But of course!  The faux governor of Georgia is now the fictional president of a future united Earth.  And did you know this:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed ‘ruthless’ fossil fuel extraction sites have a ‘correlation’ with the abductions and murders of indigenous women, though she showed little data to back up her claims.

‘Today, I want to discuss part of this crisis that is all too often overlooked, but whose evidence shows that there’s a very meaningful connection here: The correlation between fossil fuel extraction sites and abductions and murders of indigenous women across the United States,’ Ocasio-Cortez said during a recently uncovered hearing on March 3 about ‘The Neglected Epidemic of Missing BIPOC Women and Girls.’

This is out there even for AOC.  What’s the real purpose of this?

The data Ocasio-Cortez cited to back up her claim appeared to be the kidnappings and murders in whole states that have oil pipeline projects.

‘The ACLU of North Dakota also reported that 411 missing murdered, and indigenous people were kidnaped or murdered in states affiliated with pipeline projects, and that 10% of these cases occurred in counties where the Keystone Pipeline alone is proposed to be built,’ she said.

Ah!  The pipeline! Including AOC is almost too easy, but what would any edition of TSTS be without her?Just one more reason to oppose American energy independence: whenever you fill up your SUV, you’re raping and murdering people!  By the way, correlation is not causation.  Most people die in bed, but no sane person would think that means mattresses are killers, though I’m sure D/S/Cs would argue Mike Lindell, the My Pillow Guy, is.  And in trans news:

But of course!  What could be braver than a man pretending to be a woman fracturing women’s skulls?  Why, a man pretending to be a woman being named “woman of the year!”

USA TODAY announced its ‘Women of the Year,’ and one of their choices was the Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, Rachel Levine, a biological man.

Of Levine, USA TODAY noted, ‘Levine, 64, a trained pediatrician, became the nation’s highest-ranking openly transgender official last March when the Senate confirmed her as assistant secretary of health.’

‘Beyond the pandemic, Levine said she is concerned about the challenges women and girls face related to body image,’ USA TODAY wrote.

Challenges like not actually having a female body?  Including Elizabeth Fauxcohontas Warren is too easy too:

But [Elizabeth] Warren did more than push her ‘corporate greed’ narrative in this latest interview. She went on to suggest that Democrats are working on a tax hike targeting gas companies they perceive to be raking in unfair levels of profit. ‘I’m co-sponsoring a bill on windfall profits tax,’ Warren said. ‘Look, we get it — supply and demand, prices go up. But profit margins should not go up. That’s just oil companies gouging.’

This is a hilariously horrible idea.

As the Pavlich tweet reveals, this from a woman who made more than $400,000 bucks to teach one class a year for two years at Harvard.  Apparently teaching at Harvard doesn’t prepare one for the economic reality that punitively taxing the energy industry only increases costs for Deplorables.  Now it’s time for Joe Biden:

Joe Biden made a major gaffe Tuesday by saying he contracted COVID-19, when meaning to say that second gentleman Doug Emhoff had tested positive for the virus that day.

‘The first lady’s husband contacted COVID,’ President Biden said during an Equal Pay Day celebration for Women’s history month.

Someone off to the side quickly corrected Biden, pointing out that his statement would mean he was the one with COVID.

‘That’s right,’ he said to laughter from the room.

That’s OK Joe.  They’re not laughing at you; they’re laughing near you.  Then there was this:

And this:

And this:

Uh, no Joe.  Actually I don’t, and I don’t know anyone who does.  You run in odd circles.  Speaking of odd circles:

Owning a gun isn’t a ‘God-given right.’ It’s a slave-owning, misogynistic founding father-given right. I’m not against 2A, but be real – the Constitution was written by people! Today I’m filibustering a bill that would allow concealed carry without training or a permit.

Oh dear.  Hunt don’t know much about his-to-ree.  Unalienable rights are God-given, and denying black people firearms was a sacrament of the D/S/C Party in the slave-owning South and for nearly a century thereafter.  And speaking of not knowing much:

Nothing is less likely to end a war than reading a bad limerick, unless it’s having James Taylor sing: “You’ve Got A Friend” to the French.  In “everything is racist” news for this week:

Wells is the author of The 1619 Project, which proclaimed everything about America is racist because slavery.  She deleted this tweet, and got so lambasted on Twitter, she eventually wrote a tweet claiming it was a joke.  Ha ha. Bloomberg’s has advice for those making less than $300 thousand a year on how to survive inflation:

To avoid inflated meat prices, Ghilarducci suggested pivoting to vegetables.

‘Though your palate may not be used to it, tasty meat substitutes include vegetables (where prices are up a little over 4%, or lentils and beans, which are up about 9%). Plan to cut out the middle creature and consume plants directly. It’s a more efficient, healthier and cheaper way to get calories,’ the op-ed said.

Ghilarducci also suggested ‘rethinking’ a pet’s ‘costly medical needs.’ ‘It may sound harsh, but researchers actually don’t recommend pet chemotherapy — which can cost up to $10,000 — for ethical reasons,’ she wrote.

She also told everybody to ride the bus and eat Lentils instead of meat.  I can see it now: entire Flyover Country states with no bus service will move to blue cities so they can ride buses teeming with unwashed homeless, puke, feces and urine, while facing constant assaults.  That’ll fix things.  Just like the Hunter Biden Laptop story, the NYT is in the forefront of journalism on this too:

I used to think journalism was about getting a major story before anyone else.  Silly me.  Just when you thought Oregon couldn’t be crazier:

After an Oregon school banned Pride & BLM flags, these 2 middle school counselors responded with this TikTok.

They have since been placed on leave. pic.twitter.com/TW5bSmeEaw

— Libs of Tik Tok (@libsoftiktok) March 21, 2022

School counselors.  Exactly the kinds of mature, responsible people we want counseling middle school kids on emotional issues.  What’s that?  You think Oregon is even crazier?

You’re right. But no crazier than D/S/Cs in general:

The Nation’s Elie Mystal said Saturday on MSNBC that by bringing up Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record on the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., was ‘trying to get her killed.’

Mystal said he needed the Democrats to ‘step up’ at this week’s confirmation hearings for the first Black woman nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court.

‘What Josh Hawley is doing. Let’s be very clear. What Josh Hawley is doing when he tries to do this is he’s trying to get her killed. He is trying to get violence done against a Supreme Court nominee,’ Mystal said on MSNBC’s ‘The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross.’

Congressional D/S/Cs are refusing to release tens of thousands of documents of Brown Jackson’s work as a judge, and on the US Sentencing Commission.  One might think things such as one’s past legal work might be worthwhile to know when confirming a Supreme Court Justice, but that’s just me.  But what about Trans swimming?

The infamous Will Thomas took first.  You can’t shame shameless people, like this too:

Just for the record, the Florida law never mentions the word “gay,” and only prevents sexual grooming in pre-k through 3rd grade.  I doubt God would want to kill a legislator who wrote such a law.  People who want to groom children? God is very clear on that one:

But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 18:6

Good luck, Mr. Stern.  If Biden retires to “spend more time with his family,” good luck to us all:

The Governor and I, and we were all doing a tour of the library here. And, um, talking about the significance of the passage of time.

Right?

The significance of the passage of time.

[Kamala pauses here so that the audience might let the unexplained significance sink in.]

So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs.

And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children.

This is why Joe may be “retiring” at any minute to spend more time with his family:

Democrat President Joe Biden said during Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting on Monday that ‘significant opportunities’ in current world events were going to lead to a ‘new world order.’

‘I think this presents us with some significant opportunities to make some real changes. You know, we are at an inflection point, I believe, in the world economy, not just the world economy, in the world, occurs every three or four generations. As one of my, as the one of the top military people said to me in a secure meeting the other day, 60 million people died between 1900 and 1946 and since then we established a liberal world order and that hadn’t happened in a long while. A lot of people died, but nowhere near the chaos. And now’s the time when things are shifting. We’re going, there’s gonna be a new world order out there and we’ve got to lead it and we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world and doing it.’

Huh?

Too stupid to survive.
