On March 8, 2022 I posted Ukraine Observations, my thoughts at that point on the unprovoked war Russia was—and is—pursuing in Ukraine.  Since then much has happened.  The government has admitted it is funding biolabs in Ukraine.  We don’t know their exact numbers or locations, but under oath before Congress, Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland admitted they exist, were working with very dangerous pathogens and likely, biological agents, and was very worried they could be released or captured by the Russians.

Since that “ooops!” moment, various sources have set the number of facilities at 25 or 26(?!), and D/S/C sources, governmental and non-governmental have pounced on anyone repeating what Nuland revealed, calling them traitors and Putin stooges.  Some sources have claimed the labs were set up to destroy Soviet era bioweapons, but somehow, have been “studying” them instead.

Truth is always the first casualty in war, however, it does appear these labs exist.  Exactly what is happening there, exactly who is involved, and what could happen to them in the future is anyone’s guess.

One thing about which we can be certain is Ukrainian corruption, which has compromised the entire Biden family who appear all too willing to have been compromised.  It’s also highly likely the Bidens are compromised by Russia and China, which would explain a great deal, wouldn’t it gentle readers?  It’s also virtually certain our corrupt DOJ, FBI and other agencies will do nothing to protect America, particularly if it means investigating and indicting Biden and his handlers and everyone else involved in their crimes.

Over the last week I’ve come across several articles that provide food for thought.  The first, at The Remnant, is an e-mail from Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the formal Apostolic Nuncio—ambassador—to the United States.  Why would we care about what a Catholic Archbishop has to say about this?  The Catholic Church has always produced good intelligence.  It is everywhere, and pays close attention to trends, political and social.  Here’s an excerpt:

If we look at what is happening in Ukraine, without being misled by the gross falsifications of the mainstream media, we realize that respect for each other’s rights has been completely ignored; indeed, we have the impression that the Biden Administration, NATO and the European Union deliberately want to maintain a situation of obvious imbalance, precisely to make impossible any attempt at a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, provoking the Russian Federation to trigger a conflict. Herein lies the seriousness of the problem. This is the trap set for both Russia and Ukraine, using both of them to enable the globalist elite to carry out its criminal plan.

It should not surprise us that pluralism and freedom of speech, so praised in countries that claim to be democratic, are daily disavowed by censorship and intolerance towards opinions not aligned with the official narrative. Manipulations of this kind have become the norm during the so-called pandemic, to the detriment of doctors, scientists and dissenting journalists, who have been discredited and ostracized for the mere fact of daring to question the effectiveness of experimental serums. Two years later, the truth about the adverse effects and the unfortunate management of the health emergency has proven them right, but the truth is stubbornly ignored because it does not correspond to what the system wanted and still wants today.

If the world media have so far been able to lie shamelessly on a matter of strict scientific relevance, spreading lies and hiding reality, we should ask ourselves why, in the present situation, they should suddenly rediscover that intellectual honesty and respect for the code of ethics widely denied with Covid.

The Archbishop speaks to virtually every aspect of the situation, including the Biden’s corruption.  It’s a long article, but worth your time, particularly when we consider today’s “conspiracy theories” tend to be tomorrow’s front page, confirmed, news.  Here’s the first paragraph of the conclusion:

There is great concern that the destinies of the peoples of the world is in the hands of an elite that is not accountable to anyone for its decisions, that does not recognize any authority above itself, and that in order to pursue its own interests does not hesitate to jeopardize security, the economy, and the very lives of billions of people, with the complicity of politicians in their service and the mainstream media. The falsification of facts, the grotesque adulterations of reality, and the partisanship with which the news is spread stand alongside the censorship of dissenting voices and leads to forms of ethnic persecution against Russian citizens, who are discriminated against precisely in the countries that say they are democratic and respectful of fundamental rights.

Next we turn to Real Clear Investigations and an article by Paul Sperry, entitled: Ukraine Worked With Democrats Against Trump In Election 2016 To Stop Putin. That Bet Backfired Badly.  That’s the understatement of the decade.  The article begins:

Six years ago, before Russia’s full-scale invasion of their country, the Ukrainians bet that a Hillary Clinton presidency would offer better protection from Russian President Vladimir Putin, even though he had invaded Crimea during the Obama-Biden administration, whose Russian policies Clinton vowed to continue.

Working with both the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign, Ukrainian government officials intervened in the 2016 race to help Clinton and hurt Donald Trump in a sweeping and systematic foreign influence operation that’s been largely ignored by the press. The improper, if not illegal, operation was run chiefly out of the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, where officials worked hand-in-glove with a Ukrainian-American activist and Clinton campaign operative to attack the Trump campaign. The Obama White House was also deeply involved in an effort to groom their own favored leader in Ukraine and then work with his government to dig up dirt on – and even investigate — their political rival.

Ukrainian and Democratic operatives also huddled with American journalists to spread damaging information on Trump and his advisers – including allegations of illicit Russian-tied payments that, though later proved false, forced the resignation of his campaign manager Paul Manafort. The embassy actually weighed a plan to get Congress to investigate Manafort and Trump and stage hearings in the run-up to the election.

I’ve often written the idea that Vladimir Putin preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and worked to elect him is nonsense.  Facts, and many wasted millions in the Russia Hoax investigation have proved me right.  Clinton, a woman with a strong Marxist upbringing and sympathies, a woman who botched the “reset” with Russia, is the dictionary definition of a useful idiot, a woman Russia could rely upon to act against the interests of America.

Sperry continues:

At first glance, it was a bad bet as Trump upset Clinton. But by the end of his first year in office, Trump had supplied Ukrainians what the Obama administration refused to give them: tank-busting Javelin missiles and other lethal weapons to defend themselves against Russian incursions. Putin never invaded on Trump’s watch. Instead, he launched an all-out invasion during another Democratic administration – one now led by President Biden, Barack Obama’s former Vice President, whose Secretary of State last year alarmed Putin by testifying, ‘We support Ukraine’s membership in NATO.’ Biden boasted he’d go ‘toe to toe’ with Putin, but that didn’t happen as the autocrat amassed tanks along Ukraine’s border in response to the NATO overtures.

This too is a long article, but very much worth your time.  And from where did this information come?  The Durham investigation, which day by day appears to be much more interesting and potentially destructive to organs and individuals in the Deep State that we might have imagined, and a variety of other sources, personal and documentary.  Victoria Nuland figures prominently in this story as well, as do many former Obamites, now holding high office in the Biden Administration.  Their machinations, from January of 2014 forward should horrify us all.  These are not intelligent patriots working in America’s interests.  You’ll see a great many names instrumental in the Russia Hoax and the two impeachments launched against Trump.  Be sure your blood pressure medication is up to date as you read the whole thing.  There’s more than enough treason to go around, and Tucker Carlson is not involved.  This is revealing:

While Clinton was at Foggy Bottom from 2009 to 2013, Ukrainians gave more money – at least $10 million, including more than $8 million from Pinchuk – to the Clinton Foundation than any other nationality including Saudis. Pinchuk’s donation was a down payment on an astounding $29 million pledge.

As I’m sure you may recall, the Clintons are dusting off the Clinton Foundation.  Funds to that organization dropped dramatically after Hillary lost in 2016, but apparently the fundraising outlook is once again good as Hillary works toward another run for the White House in 2024.

From Sperry’s conclusion:

Not only did Russia not invade Europe ‘under Trump,’ it didn’t even invade Ukraine. Rather, the invasion came under Biden, whose campaign Chalupa supported. Yet she continues to blame Trump. Recent tweets show a still-obsessed Chalupa has not dialed back her extremist views about Trump or Manafort, whom she believes should be prosecuted for ‘treason.’

In my first Ukraine article, I observed:

*The ultimate blame for the death, physical and economic destruction in Ukraine and worldwide belongs to Vladimir Putin.  Joe Biden/his handlers, however, are responsible for horrifying weakness and incompetence.

Unless, of course, events are occurring exactly as Biden and his handlers have intended.  At The New Yorker, David Remnick conducts an interview of Russia Scholar Stephen Kotkin.  It too is worth your time.  An excerpt:

Stephen Kotkin is one of our most profound and prodigious scholars of Russian history. His masterwork is a biography of Josef Stalin.

[Remnick:] We’ve been hearing voices both past and present saying that the reason for what has happened is, as George Kennan put it, the strategic blunder of the eastward expansion of nato. The great-power realist-school historian John Mearsheimer insists that a great deal of the blame for what we’re witnessing must go to the United States. I thought we’d begin with your analysis of that argument.

[Kotkin:] I have only the greatest respect for George Kennan. John Mearsheimer is a giant of a scholar. But I respectfully disagree. The problem with their argument is that it assumes that, had nato not expanded, Russia wouldn’t be the same or very likely close to what it is today. What we have today in Russia is not some kind of surprise. It’s not some kind of deviation from a historical pattern. Way before nato existed—in the nineteenth century—Russia looked like this: it had an autocrat. It had repression. It had militarism. It had suspicion of foreigners and the West. This is a Russia that we know, and it’s not a Russia that arrived yesterday or in the nineteen-nineties. It’s not a response to the actions of the West. There are internal processes in Russia that account for where we are today.

I would even go further. I would say that nato expansion has put us in a better place to deal with this historical pattern in Russia that we’re seeing again today. Where would we be now if Poland or the Baltic states were not in nato? They would be in the same limbo, in the same world that Ukraine is in. In fact, Poland’s membership in nato stiffened nato’s spine. Unlike some of the other nato countries, Poland has contested Russia many times over. In fact, you can argue that Russia broke its teeth twice on Poland: first in the nineteenth century, leading up to the twentieth century, and again at the end of the Soviet Union, with Solidarity. So George Kennan was an unbelievably important scholar and practitioner—the greatest Russia expert who ever lived—but I just don’t think blaming the West is the right analysis for where we are.

Kotkin is right.  Putin’s actions cannot be excused, nor can the war crimes his troops, under his orders, are committing.  Sadly, it’s highly unlikely the West, “led” by Joe Biden, will do anything about it.

Again, let me remind you, gentle readers, we’ll likely never know everything that has been going on behind the scenes.  Did Victoria Nuland have a crisis of conscience?  It would appear that is a quality of which she is bereft.  Did she expose the existence of the biolabs to somehow harm Putin?  America?  Ukraine?  When D/S/Cs get around to admitting they exist will they blame Donald Trump, or Putin, who seems to be the new political whipping boy?

One of the best things about the last few years, and one of the worst, is Americans know they absolutely cannot trust our government, most of our institutions and the media.  That provides a basis for rebuilding, or the utter destruction of the West.  Read the articles, gentle readers.  At least you’ll be a bit better informed and perhaps, know a little more about what may or may not be believable.
