Recall if you well, gentle readers, the Obama Iran deal, the “JCPOA.”. There were no enforcement mechanisms, guaranteeing Iran would get nuclear weapons. They would have had them years ago without Israel’s work to slow them down. Recall too Obama never submitted the “deal” to Congress, because he knew even many D/S/Cs would never approve it, so it had no actual force. Donald Trump ended that charade, but as soon as the Harris/Biden/Whoever Administration–Joe Biden– Temporary President, took office, they began “renegotiating” the failed deal.
Did they negotiate for a tougher deal, a treaty Congress would approve, one that had the slightest hope of preventing Iran—the world’s worst terror funding state—from getting nuclear weapons? Of course not! They’re negotiating America’s complete and unconditional surrender. Andrea Widburg at The American Thinker explains:
A magician’s best trick is misdirection. While he has the audience focused tightly on his left hand, his right hand is busy making “the magic” happen. Then he redirects the audience’s attention and — voilà! — magic. The problem is that this same trick of misdirection can be used not for entertainment, but to hide perfidious political behavior. Unfortunately, if Gabriel Noronha, a former Iran official in the U.S. State Department, is to be believed, that’s exactly what’s happening in Austria, where U.S. negotiations with Iran are taking place.
Melanie Phillips became aware of a long Twitter thread by Gabriel Noronha, the aforementioned former State Department official on the Iran desk. His thread begins with these ominous words: ‘My former career @StateDept, NSC, and EU colleagues are so concerned with the concessions being made by @robmalley in Vienna that they’ve allowed me to publish some details of the coming deal in the hopes that Congress will act to stop the capitulation.’
Who is Robert Malley? He is our special envoy to Iran, a position he assumed on January 28, 2021. He’s a Jewish leftist who served under both Clinton and Obama, and who devoutly wants America and Israel to get along with Hamas, a pure genocidally antisemitic terrorist organization, and the Muslim Brotherhood, a group so foul that the Egyptian people ejected it. He grew up in France, from which his father was expelled in 1980 for being so openly hostile to Western colonialism and Israel. Like father, like son.
Who else would Biden’s handlers choose to “negotiate” a deal but a self-hating Jew who hates not only Israel but America?
Given his bona fides, Noronha’s thread, which describes America pouring money into the Iranian mullahs’ pockets, as well as removing all sanctions on and terrorist designations from some of the most evil terrorists in the world (individuals as well as the IRGC), with nothing in return, is entirely believable — including the fact that the deal is being structured so that Congress can’t stop it.
You can read more about Russia’s role here. Why would we be relying on Russia? Because the Irainains refuse to directly speak to American negotiators, even a shill like Malley! Instead of telling them to pound sand our State Department is apparently begging them for a “deal,” any deal, particularly if it screws America and Israel. Here’s Noranha’s thread. More thereafter:
Final Thoughts: What, if Noranha is correct, will America—and our allies—get from the deal? As you can see, nothing at all. except a promise to talk, at some point in the future, about their terrorist activities. Iran will get untold billions with which to not only strengthen the regime, but supercharge their nuclear program and fund renewed terrorism not only in the middle east, but around the world. The Mullahs and their supporters routinely chant “Death to America.” When people do that, it’s wise to take them seriously. Iran will cheat on any possible deal, and we can be certain Biden’s handlers will never stop Iran from acquiring, or using, nuclear weapons. Would they do anything if Iran obliterated Israel? Perhaps a strongly worded letter at the UN? This is yet another instance of Biden’s weakness, and Iran and every other malign actor in the world is going to take full advantage of it.
“Treason” is a term much misused these days. D/S/Cs call anyone who disagrees with them a traitor, people trying to destroy “Democracy,” which to them means a tyranny of the majority. So yes, Normal Americans are trying to prevent that kind of “democracy,” and thank God they are.
Iran declared war on America in 1979 and has never renounced that declaration. We’ve been at war with them since, and they’ve killed far more Americans than we’ve killed Iranians. We, with the exception of Donald Trump, have pretended we were not at war. When Trump ordered the killing of the butcher, Solemani, the usual D/S/C suspects wailed and gnashed their teeth, but because we are still at war, he was an entirely legitimate target. Here are the definitions of treason, in the Constitution and in federal law:
Here’s Article III, Section 3:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Clearly under any federal definition, if Noranha is accurate, and it’s likely he is, everyone having any hand in the new “deal” would clearly be giving aid and comfort to an enemy of America, an enemy at war with us, inflicting casualties on us, to say nothing of our allies, since 1979. It’s almost impossible to imagine our current government prosecuting anyone for treason, unless they were a Normal American who disagreed with D/S/Cs. However, the “deal” would ensure American national security, and the security of the civilized world would be grievously damaged. Far more people will die than died from 1979 to 2022.
Keep in mind, of course, all of this will also greatly increase Iran’s wealth and power as it pumps and sells more oil, while simultaneously, our Administration is purposely trying to starve Americans of the lifeblood of western civilization. Even better, Pete “Permanent Maternity Leave” Buttegieg and congressional D/S/Cs are advocating buying Iranian oil, providing even more money for terrorism under the guise of punishing Russia by not buying oil from them. How does that fit into Climate Change lunacy, or are our “leaders” willing to overlook that because it harms America?
Are Biden and his handlers, along with his D/S/C enablers and supporters simply too stupid to understand what they’re doing? Or are they doing this on purpose, because they’re socialists/communists and hate America? Which, gentle readers, would be worse? Which would be more deserving of prosecution for treason? If our “leaders” and State Department were actively trying to destroy America, what would they be doing differently?
UPDATE, 03-05-22, 1100 MT: I’m only surprised the number of Americans who don’t trust Biden is so relatively low:
Note the poll was done in February. I suspect, with the revelations of the specifics of the deal, the number of those not trusting Biden is higher. Go here for a good summary article of the issues. And go here for a related article by Andrew McCarthy.
UPDATE, 03-08-22, 1200 MT: Here’s Noronha’s most recent, updated article on the deal. At the moment, Iran has stopped negotiating, which I suspect means they’re just going to keep drawing things out until they get even more, and/or until they get nucs. The more I discover about this deal and the idiots so desperate to get one signed at any cost–which they’re willing to pay–the more I’m convinced they’re committing actual, not rhetorical, treason.
There is growing evidence that Ukraine was building nukes which is why, along with the threat of NATO membership, Putin invaded.
Where they trying to build new ones or refurbish the ones left over after the Soviet collapse?
Dear zarrin7:
Good point. They were supposed to have given them all up, but one wouldn’t need to be terribly sharp to realize one is better off with nucs for deterrence when Russia is a neighbor. Of course, we don’t know any of this with certainty.
Maybe both
Dear Elmer Fudd:
I curious why, if this is so, Putin hasn’t exposed evidence of this to justify his invasion? Even if it is true, does anyone really think Ukraine posed a nuclear threat to Russia, that they would use nuclear weapons in a first strike? If true, it’s virtually certain Ukraine wanted nucs to deter Russia, which any sane nation in the neighborhood would want. I suspect after the invasion, America’s weakness, and NATO fecklessness, those nations will want as many nucs as they can get. The same is surely true of the Middle East when Iran gets them.
