People like Hillary Clinton, one of the worst people in America, really do hate us and think we’re stupid. Mollie Hemingway certainly has her number.  There are two sexes: male and female.  The rest is mental illness, scamming and political posturing, as Breitbart reports:

Fifth-grade girls who attended a science camp organized by the Los Alamitos Unified School District in California stayed in cabins with men who ‘identify’ as non-binary — or not accepting their biological sex.

The parents learned from their daughters that the male counselors used ‘they/them’ pronouns and stayed with them in their cabins for three nights at Camp Pali.

The Los Angeles-based KTLA reported on the incident: ‘Per California law, we place staff in cabins they identify with,’ Emmi Teige, assistant director of Camp Pali, confirmed.

Even in CA, parents were pissed, but there aren’t nearly enough of them.  This from Robert Spencer at PJ Media, pretty much explains the mess we’re in:

It’s one of the most awkward twenty seconds ever captured on video in a disastrous administration that lurches from one awkward moment to another: when asked ‘Do you think you may have underestimated Putin?,’ Old Joe Biden first continued to stare in the general direction of the question, a slight smirk on his face, expression absolutely unchanged from what it had been before the question was asked. A few seconds later he turned his head to face the camera and, after a few more seconds, grinned sardonically. A few seconds later, he began picking his teeth with his thumbnail, and then grins a bit vacantly before the video mercifully runs out. Amid all the wrong choices, erroneous policies, abject failures, and stupid missteps of this disastrous administration, it was a trivial moment, but it was a telling one.

Recently polling has indicated only 36% of the public think Biden is up to the job.  It’s horrifying 36% do, or are willing to risk national security just to keep a D/S/C in the White House at all costs.  This didn’t age well (note the date):

Neither did this (also note the date):

And did you know inflation and every other Biden debacle isn’t the problem?  No sir. Biden is making everything better.  The problem is we’re all crazy:

However, there’s a more concerning aspect once you listen to how genuinely he has been led to believe in things that are fundamentally false. That’s where the danger comes from.  In this prompted segment on COVID and the economy, Joe Biden references a perspective, a belief in current events, that has been seeded into his brain by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.

I know it’s hard to listen to him, but in this segment pay close attention.  Joe Biden believes, really believes, that a COVID induced mental psychosis is responsible for people convincing themselves that prices have gone up, that inflation is extreme, and that economic pain is real.

He has been told that inflation does not exist, so he believes inflation is imaginary. He is reconciling the difference between what he is told to believe and the reality that everyone lives, by accepting an explanation from his advisors – that working class people are suffering from psychosis.

By all means, take the link and listen to Biden’s delusion.  So the government’s response to Covid has made us all crazy?  And who is responsible for that?

Take the link to see Biden sputter through this bit of nonsense.  This, too is how far we’ve fallen:

If there was any ever doubt D/S/Cs care far more about the border of Ukraine than they do about America’s borders, this will dispel it:

The Southern border of the United States is in unimaginable crisis. Border agents set a new record for arrests of people trying to enter the country illegally from Mexico: 1.9 million in 2021. And 402,000 of those were released within the United States, with asylum hearings scheduled, for which some will never show up. Biden has vilified and lied about border officials; they’re clearly just obstacles in the way of his project to bring as many migrants into the country as possible, make sure they vote for the party that keeps their benefits flowing, and thereby secure the Democratic Party’s hegemony for decades to come. Now Biden’s handlers have come up with a new idea for how border agents can keep occupied: they want to send them to Eastern Europe for ‘Operation Ukraine Support.’

JusttheNews.com reported Thursday that ‘for the second time in a year, the Biden administration is seeking to divert Customs and Border Protection officers from the southern border crisis to an overseas conflict, this time to help process people fleeing the Russian assault on Ukraine.’

And they claim Trump is on Putin’s side?!  And what “processing” exactly, would be necessary that the officials of surrounding nations couldn’t handle?

All this is, understandably, being done in a hurry. The memo, according to Justthenews.com, ‘said volunteers need to be ready to deploy ‘within 2-3 days’ of selection and should plan for about a month’s work overseas.’ And don’t worry, the really important matters are being taken care of: ‘It also offered a plan for COVID-19 mitigation that said workers need to either have the vaccine or natural immunity from a recent infection. As a mission necessity and to avoid post-arrival quarantine, volunteers must be able to provide a negative PCR test taken within 24 hours of arrival and meet one of the following conditions: fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccination’ or ‘recovered from COVID-19 within six months prior to arrival.’ But of course! Putin is coming, but let’s not lose sight of our priorities!

Wouldn’t it be nice if our “leaders” gave a rat’s ass about the vaccine status of the unvetted millions they’re allowing to stream across our southern border?

The memo added: ‘Once deployed employees are expected to perform all assigned duties and may be required to work irregular shifts and schedules, up to seven days per week including holidays and weekends.’ All this is indeed highly irregular, so why not? As America continues to be inundated with migrants, among whom is an unknowable number of criminals and terrorists, we can at least console ourselves with the knowledge that our government, at our expense, is taking care of processing Ukrainian refugees. In this America-Last administration, it’s only fair.

Should any of our Border Patrol personnel be taken prisoner or killed, wouldn’t that be a lovely excuse to go to war with Russia?  And they claim Trump is on Putin’s side?  The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau thinks refusing to be racist is racist:

Not only are federal workers urged to consider what they say, but also how their comments are received. In one chart, a white male is shown saying he is ‘colorblind.’ The black woman shown beside, however, takes as an insult that the white is denying her ‘racial/cultural being.’

Nah.  He’s just saying what matters is her character and merit, which is, of course, racist, just like Martin Luther King these days.  Of course, not being racist is racist, and nothing can atone for racism.

It’s this kind of foreign affairs insight and brilliance that might convince one we’re doomed:

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday that Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine is likely only part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s designs for the European continent.

Blinken made the remarks in an interview with CBS News managing editor Norah O’Donnell. When asked by O’Donnell if the U.S. had any specific intelligence indicating Putin will advance beyond Ukraine, the nation’s top diplomat shrugged off the question, suggesting it’s obvious.

‘You don’t need intelligence to tell you that that’s exactly what President Putin wants,’ Blinken said. ‘He’s made clear that he’d like to reconstitute the Soviet empire. Short of that, he’d like to reassert a sphere of influence around neighboring countries that were once part of the Soviet bloc. And short of that, he’d like to make sure that all of these countries are somehow neutral.’

Golly, thanks for that insight, Secretary Obvious.  We could wish our leaders were actually concerned about this:

The U.S. Air Force’s capability has sunk to 70 percent, according to reports from Frontpage. Only 7 out of 10 planes were mission-capable in 2021. At present, none of the planes required to countering any significant aerial attack or engagement from the Chinese Communist Party or others are more than 70 percent capable.

Mission-capable or ‘readiness’ rates are defined as the percentage of time an aircraft can fly and execute at least one mission, according to reports citing the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Under President Donald Trump’s administration, former Secretary of Defense James Mattis ordered that many Navy and Air Force fighter jets achieve a minimum mission capable rate of 80 percent.

At present, reports suggest that 5-35As, the fifth generation fighters essential to any counterattack mission capability, dropped from 76 percent to 68.8 percent. F-15Es are down from 69 percent to 66 percent. 5-15C are below 70 percent and expected to drop even further, similarly to the C-130 Hercules, dubbed the ‘backbone’ of the U.S. Air Force operations. CV-22 Osprey readiness has fallen to 50 percent, and the B-1 Lancer is now at 40 percent.

Stealth fighters are very maintenance intensive, and the other aircraft mentioned are all, with few exceptions, quite old, which also increases maintenance needs.  The Osprey is also a complex, maintenance intensive aircraft.  None of this is a unknown to our “leaders” who are to blame for not planning for it.

One of the oldest aircrafts, the UH-1N Huey, was the only one that met mission-capable goals, but the aircrafts are more than 60 years old. Despite the Air Force spending $56.9 billion in investments on aircrafts in 2021, they are still dependent on outdated machines, many of which are more than 50 years old.

Compared to the other aircraft, the Huey is relatively easy to maintain, though any helicopter is a maintenance intensive aircraft, requiring many hours of work for every flight hour.  Here’s why things are falling apart:

Chief of Staff Charles Brown and Chief of Space Operation John Raymond suggested that the U.S. Air Force ‘should be a balance between mission readiness and ensuring people’s voices are heard,’ when asked about U.S. Air Force focus on racism instead of readiness. Under Brown’s leadership, the U.S. Air Force has focused on mitigating unconscious bias, perceived racism, and expanding the diversity of the U.S. Air Force.

“Ensuring people’s voices are heard”?!  If the mission doesn’t come first, we no longer have a military.  It’s the job of every officer and NCO to be directly responsible for morale.  That’s how people’s voices are heard.  The rest is Marxist, racist propaganda designed to destroy readiness, and it’s succeeding.  If the Russians or Chinese ever challenge us to a comparison of DIE programs, we’ll kick their commie butts.  The continuing destruction of our judiciary also proceeds apace:

‘For too long our government, our courts haven’t looked like America,’ the president said during his remarks at the White House while introducing Jackson to the American people. ‘I believe it’s time we have a court that reflects the full talents and greatness of our nation.’

As I recently noted in Supreme Court: It’s The American Thing To Do, picking judges by race and/or sex is insane.  Judges, particularly Supreme Court justices, do not “represent” anyone, nor must they “look like America.”  They must be the people most qualified by experience, judicial temperament, and absolute fidelity to the Constitution and the law.  D/S/Cs pick judges based on their willingness to legislate from the bench for D/S/C political policies.  And speaking of insane, NPR is at it again/still:

While we wait for more information, don’t forget to care for yourself in other ways:

Breathe.

Get moving.

Nourish yourself.

Stay connected.

Or sign off.

This advice is intended to help NPR listeners deal with our difficult times.  I’m particularly thankful for the “breathe” part.  Forgetting to do that is probably why I’ve been so blue lately.  In the “treason” department for this edition of TSTS:

Tribe is a famously leftist, Constitution scorning, law professor.  Here’s Article III, Section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

And here’s USC 2381:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Not only is Tribe attacking the First Amendment—free speech—he’s supporting the efforts of D/S/Cs to prevent their political enemies from so much as running for office by charging them–with no evidence that could possibly justify an indictment, let alone a conviction–with insurrection, being domestic terrorists, and yes, traitors.  Sane people know it is Biden’s destruction of our energy independence—we’re actually buying huge quantities of oil from Russia every day—that is fueling Putin’s attack on Ukraine.  Red Jen Psaki–I’m not referring to her badly dyed hair–not so much:

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that the U.S. needs to decrease its reliance on foreign oil by switching over to renewable energy, not increasing domestic production.

‘We need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, on oil in general, and we need to look at other ways of having energy in our country and others,’ Psaki said during an interview with ABC This Week Sunday. ‘We’ve seen over the last week or so… a number of European countries are recognizing they need to reduce their own reliance on Russian oil.’

As regular readers know, what the dimwitted Psaki is suggesting isn’t remotely physically possible, not now, not ever.  Maybe that’s the point.  Perhaps Tribe should take a closer look at her and the Harris/Biden/Whoever Administration if he’s looking for treasonous activity.  Speaking of treason, or gross incompetence and/or malice:

China’s government took U.S. intelligence provided to convince Beijing to join American-led efforts to head off a military attack on Ukraine and shared it with Russia, according to a person familiar with the activity.

Intelligence-sharing with a major U.S. adversary is unusual but was part of repeated diplomatic efforts by the Biden administration to gain support from China in dissuading Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine.

However, the Chinese government repeatedly rebuffed the efforts and instead turned over the intelligence data to Moscow, an indication of the growing ties between Beijing and Moscow.

That’s right, gentle readers.  Our brilliant “leaders” gave one of our enemies—China–some of the most sensitive intelligence we possess, knowing they had made a support agreement with one of our other enemies—Russia.  China gave that intelligence to Russia.  What a surprise.

Sadly, no one in America should be surprised our government is that stupid.  And speaking of stupid:

Of course.  Biden told us high prices cause inflation, and now, a Russian war on Ukraine causes supply chain problems.  I could have sworn we had inflation and supply chain problems long before Putin invaded, but don’t worry.  The Administration has their priorities right:

So there’s a war on, with the possibility of nuclear weapons release, but CLIMATE CHANGE!!! As soon as these evil idiots act like there’s a climate crisis–Kerry exclusively uses private jets–I’m not going to pay any attention.  And speaking of idiotic priorities:

How about that?  Masks and social distancing provide protection from nuclear blast effects and radiation too!  I had no idea!  On the other hand, maybe not:

It’s amazing how fast “the science” changes when it’s politically expedient.  Like this:

“The science” is changing on this too as the midterms draw closer:

A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 84 percent of voters believe that ‘parents should be able to see all curriculum plans and materials for classes their children take,’ while 12 percent said they disagreed and 5 percent said they are not sure.

So 12% of Americans think schools should hide what they’re teaching from parents?  Do they think this a national security issue?  Parents might spill teacher’s state secrets to the Russians, or worse, REPUBLICANS?!  Who could have possibly thought a government seizing people’s bank accounts might cause people to get their money the hell out of banks?

Yeah, who coulda thunk it?  And who coulda thunk this?

The trucks have since been removed, with police pushing the majority of protesters outside of the downtown core over the Family Day long weekend. Even still, some downtown residents say they’re haunted by ‘phantom honking’ — what sounds like blaring truck horns, but no actual sounds are there.

‘I felt I was constantly doing these sort of double takes … it almost feels a bit re-traumatizing.’

Yes, these are Canadians, but this kind of contagion easily crosses national borders.  One can only imagine the PTSD horror of hearing the noises from bouncy castles:

Dr. Peter Liu, an Ottawa-based clinical psychologist, said it’s possible people who hear phantom honking are experiencing a ‘mild trauma.’

‘These sounds become sort of embedded in mind, kind of like the way trauma leads to flashbacks,’ said Liu. ‘Even long after this has happened, the brain is still in a hyper-vigilant state and expects more honking.’

I wonder why we’re not hearing about this sort of thing from the residents of the American cities exposed to “mostly peaceful protests” during the “summer of love?”  The indispensable Victor Davis Hanson asks some pertinent questions, to which the answers are blaringly obvious:

Gas and oil, and thus who tried to curtail both, explain a lot of the current mess. The nihilist Biden decision voluntarily to cancel new pipelines, federal leases, ANWAR, and leverage loss of bank financing for fracking, and to give up well over 2 million barrels of daily production will be seen not just as an economic disaster. It was a strategic catastrophe. [skip]

Why did Biden blow-up energy dependence? Could not tomorrow Biden reverse course, greenlight the Keystone pipeline, reverse his mindless opposition to the EastMed pipeline that would help allies Cyprus, Greece, and Israel to help other allies in southern Europe, and throw open new federal leasing to supply exports of liquid natural gas to Europe?

What is moral, and what amoral: alienating Bernie Sanders and the squad or keeping our allies and ourselves safe from foreign attack? What is so ethical about following the green advice of billionaires like global jet-setter John Kerry at the expense of the middling classes who cannot afford to drive their cars or warm their living rooms?

See what I mean by “obvious?”  Ida Bae Wells is the author of The 1619 Project:

Uh-huh.  So a war by a nation of white people against a nation of white people is racist, and Europe isn’t a continent, but a “geopolitical fiction.”  She doesn’t know anything about geography either.

Too stupid to survive.
