Why don’t I find this funny?

And in the just because it’s cute department…

Did you hear the one about Biden for Comptroller Of The Currency, do didn’t know whether ruinous gas prices are a good or bad thing, because that’s not her area?  Yeah.  That’s not funny, which is why we need the Funnies more all the time.

One of the things I miss about teaching is no longer collecting gems of unintentional humor from the writings of my students.  For your amusement, here are a few more from the past:

“Star Wars IV: A New Hoe, is a fun and entertaining movie.”

“The people [in America] are nice, and there is so much diversity that there is no way you could be happy here.”

“Some of the most popular restaurants come from the U.S. For example, McDonald’s, Chick-fa-la and Waterburgers.”

“Its [America’s] culture has spread throughout the word, like AIDS, and has helped to make us more connected as a species.”

“Sure, other countries despise us, [America] but its not for negative reasons.”
