OK, OK, so Fauci lied to the American public about a great many things.  He admitted many of those lies, but the self-imagined elite forgave him because he was always faithful to the narrative, because he was only lying to Normals—you’re supposed to lie to them!–and because he was lying because Normals couldn’t take or understand the truth.  And OK, OK, so Fauci lied again, denying the NIH, which he heads, funded gain of function research at Wuhan:

The National Institutes of Health has stunningly admitted to funding gain-of-function researchon bat coronaviruses at China’s Wuhan lab — despite Dr. Anthony Fauci repeatedly insisting to Congress that no such thing happened.

In a letter to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) on Wednesday, a top NIH official blamed EcoHealth Alliance — the New York City-based nonprofit that has funneled US funds to the Wuhan lab — for not being transparent about the work it was doing.

NIH’s principal deputy director, Lawrence A. Tabak, wrote in the letter that EcoHealth’s ‘limited experiment’ tested whether ‘spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.’

OK, OK, so fauci repeatedly, arrogantly, and angrily lied about it, and accused Senator Rand Paul, a medical doctor, of lying.  By the way, gain of function research is basically trying to modify viruses so they can infect, or more efficiently infect, human beings.  Golly.  Can’t imagine why the Chinese Communists might want to do that.

The admission from the NIH official directly contradicts Fauci’s testimony to Congress in May and July, when he denied the US had funded gain-of-function projects in Wuhan.

OK, OK, so even though the NIH has admitted the NIH actually did fund gain of function research at Wuhan, Fauci still denied it:

In a video [played on an ABC Sunday talk show], when asked if Fauci should be fired, Sen. Paul said, ‘Absolutely. The thing is, is just for lack of judgment, if nothing else. You know, he’s probably never going to admit he lied. He’s going to continue to disassemble and stretch the truth.’

Fauci said, ‘I obviously totally disagree with Senator Paul. He’s totally incorrect. Neither I nor Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the NIH, lied or misled about what we’ve done. The framework under which we have guidance about the conduct about the research that we fund, the funding at the Wuhan Institute, was to be able to determine what is out there in the environment in bat viruses in China. The research was very strictly under what we call a framework of oversight of the type of research. Under those conditions which we have explained very, very clearly, does not constitute research of gain of function of concern.’

Translation:  It’s somebody else’s fault, even though it never occurred, but it’s not my fault that it did, because we have a framework.  And now we find the NIH is altering the definition, in an apparent attempt to help Fauci lie in the future:

OK, OK, so Fauci did fund gain of function research, tried to cover it up, got caught, and is still lying about it.  That’s what D/S/Cs do.  So what?  The Harris/Biden/Whoever Administration—Joe Biden, Temporary President—surely isn’t going to fire their primary viral fear inducer.  Short of killing puppies, there is nothing that is going to dislodge Fauci.

What’s that?  He has killed puppies, and in particularly vile, brutal and inhuman ways? Yes he has:

Reports that Dr. Anthony Fauci’s division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) partially funded an experiment of insects eating beagle puppies alive has sparked bipartisan outrage on Capitol Hill.

Responding to a report from the non-profit organization White Coat Waste Project, both Democrats and Republicans signed a letter this week demanding to know why the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – one of the 27 institutes under the NIH – partially funded an experiment that locked beagles’ heads in cages while hordes of hungry sandflies ate them alive.

Let’s go, Brandon!

According to The Hill, the beagles were infected with ‘disease-causing parasites to test an experimental drug on them.’ The experiment transpired in a Tunisia, North Africa laboratory where as many as 44 beagle puppies endured what Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) referred to as a ‘cruel’ and ‘reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds.’

To eliminate incessant barking, the beagle puppies also had their vocal cords removed.

Of course.  Wouldn’t want “researchers” to be disturbed by the agonizing death throes of the puppies they’re murdering!  African researchers: doing jobs Americans won’t do.

‘Our investigators show that Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,’ White Coat Waste told Changing America. ‘They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies.’

Neither Dr. Anthony Fauci nor the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has responded to the White Coat Waste Project report.

So what?  If you attack Saint Anthony Fauci, M.D, you are attacking science itself!  We know because he said so, and he wouldn’t lie about a thing like that:

Among the many jobs I held during my law enforcement career was management of an animal control section.  In that job, we had something of a joke about angry citizens:

You killed my family, but you kicked my dog.  Now I’m MAD!

It was funny, in a black way, because people take cruelty to animals seriously, as well they should.  I often saw leftist judges who would give minimal sentences to criminals that beat and raped women, but would really lay down the law for people who abused animals.

Normal Americans are, unlike what the self-imagined elite would have you believe, kind and compassionate people.  Their compassion particularly extends toward little children and animals, because both are innocent and helpless, which is particularly true of our pets, mostly dogs and cats.  When cruel and stupid people abuse them, Normal Americans rightfully become angry, and on first thought are encouraged to do to them what they have done to animals.  They understand the relative necessity of some kinds of animal research, but only if it directly benefits mankind.  They do not romanticize animals or mistake animals for human beings, but they have no patience or mercy for people who cause animals unnecessary suffering.

Fortunately, we live—for the moment—more or less under the rule of law, and we ultimately would not do to animal abusers what they would do to animals.  That would be a violation of the 8th Amendment prohibiting cruel and unusual punishment.  I suspect most Americans are sorely tempted to make an exception for anyone involved in causing puppies to be eaten alive by voracious insects.

What sort of monster would conceive of such an “experiment?”  What sort of monster would perform it?  What sort of monster would fund it?

I suspect we’re about to see what sort of monster would defend it—as science?!

Is it possible funding and lying about a virus that has killed millions cannot dislodge someone like Fauci, but torturing puppies to death might?

To paraphrase Patrick Henry, I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me the figurative heads—resignations at minimum–of anyone and everyone in the US Government even remotely involved in funding or in any way enabling or supporting this abomination, or I’ll start considering ignoring the rule of law and 8th Amendment.  Even cruel and unusual punishment is too good for them.

Pre-Posting Update:  What’s that you say, gentle readers?  It couldn’t possibly be worse?  It’s worse.
