It has often been said a nation without borders, a nation that does not protect its sovereignty, is not a nation.  As you read this article, gentle readers, pause a moment to reflect on the accuracy and application of that aphorism.  We begin with an article from Newsmax, posted 09-19-21:

Overwhelmed Biden administration border officials are now leaving 224 miles of the southern border in Texas unpatrolled and open for a ‘massive invasion,’ a violation of Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, sources told former acting Customs and Border Patrol Commissioner Mark Morgan.

‘This is criminal,’ Morgan, who served under former President Donald Trump, told Newsmax on Sunday. ‘The U.S. has lost control of the border in the Del Rio sector.’

‘This would not have happened under the Trump administration,’ he added.

By now I’m sure, gentle readers, you’re aware of the bizarre latest manifestation of the 9-month border crisis.  We are assured by Harris/Biden/Whoever Administration–Joe Biden, Temporary President–functionaries our southern border is absolutely closed, yet hundreds of thousands of illegals stream across it every month, 200,00—that’s the best number we have—in August alone.  Most recently, as many as 15,000 mostly Haitians have set up camp under the International Bridge at Del Rio, Texas, and hundreds, even thousands more continue to stream across the Rio Grande.

Article IV, Section 4 protects the states from invasion,’ Morgan said. ‘It’s a massive invasion.’

‘What else would you call that: migrants unchecked, walking back and forth freely at the border. The federal government has stopped patrolling 224 miles, allowing thousands of migrants to come across.’

Bill Melugin of Fox News has been doing the border reporting most D/S/C media propaganda outlets will not.  Using a drone, he has documented the horrific conditions under the bridge, the sheer magnitude of the invasion, and put the lie to the Administration’s claims the border is closed.  As the Fox coverage took hold, the Administration boldly acted: they got the FAA to declare a no-fly zone in the area for “special security” reasons.

The enterprising Melugin managed to get a ride on a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter to continue providing the damaging video of the wholesale Haitian invasion.  Obviously embarrassed, the FAA quickly allowed Fox to fly its drone again.

Since the border is “closed,” the Bidenites did nothing to stop the invasion, so by 09-18-21, Governor Greg Abbott of Texas sent the DPS—Texas State Troopers—to stop the flow as best they could with a wall of patrol cars, a stopgap measure, but one at least temporarily effective.

Fox continues to expose Administration lawlessness, as Breitbart reports:

‘We just heard from the secretary, who said we sent a very clear message the border is not open. And, yet, that’s not the message they are getting, is it?’ host Steve Doocy asked.

‘No,’ [Texas Attorney General Ken] Paxton replied. ‘And that is not the message they have sent. From day one, President Biden said you’re welcome to come here. We will not deport you. And that message was sent loud and clear, and Haitians have been given special protection. They are not being deported, the ones that are already here. So, the administration has even told them, you know, the ones that are here we are not deporting, so that message has gotten through. And that’s why you see that picture on the border with thousands of people waiting to get in.’

‘They are not blocking the Haitians anymore than blocking everyone else,’ he argued. ‘They want illegal immigration. They want what that brings, and it’s clear from what their actions are that that’s true.’

‘My guess is this is exactly what the Biden administration wants,’ Paxton concluded.

That’s a good guess.  One of the most obvious questions is how so many Haitians are getting to Del Rio?  Haiti, after all, is an island on the opposite side of Cuba.  They’re not walking, and they’re certainly not swimming.

Monica Showalter at The American Thinker provides answers:

The Center for Immigration Studies, sent a senior researcher named Todd Bensman to ask those questions on the ground, going to the immigrants themselves, and he came up with a doozy of an answer:

The surprising answer, which the migrants provided independently in different places and at different times, was universal: on Sunday, September 12, the Mexican government effectively sent a mass of migrants it had bottled up for months in its southern states up to the American border. This move, which appears to have been done under the cover of Mexico’s independence week of celebration known as El Grito, essentially foisted a humanitarian problem onto the Americans in a single week.

Regular readers will recall it was President Trump who worked out very effective deals with Mexico to keep illegals in Mexico while asylum claims were being processed.  Upon taking office, those deals were among the first of the Trump policies Biden’s handlers abandoned in an ancient Egypt-like attempt to wipe all memory of him and his accomplishments from existence.  Their juvenile, Trump Derangement Syndrome, spite has not been to America’s benefit.

Mexico was the one who did it. Turns out Joe Biden promised them some things and based on the available information, apparently never delivered. Mexico’s response to that was comparable to that of the underpaid wedding photographer who deleted a camera full of wedding photos after the callous client denied her a bathroom or meal break after a multi-hour shift. They had been penning up thousands of illegal Haitian migrants on their southern border in the town of Tapachula from entering the U.S. and opened the floodgates, all to teach Joe Biden a lesson about messing with them.

So much for Joe Biden’s vaunted ‘diplomacy is back’ claim — he can’t even manage the U.S. Diplomacy 101 task of managing relations with our nearest neighbor, Mexico. Biden had been touted in the press for his supposed foreign policy expertise but he’s beyond incompetent of this, managing to severely alienate both France and Mexico, and sure enough, Mexico has already bit back.

As for why they all chose to head for Del Rio, Bensman found the answer to that, too – migrants were told that cartels did not hold sway over that crossing as they did at other illegal crossings, and so, migrants could get across without paying ‘fees’ to the cartels for the privilege of entering the U.S. illegally. And it certainly helped matters for them that Joe Biden halted the border wall.

The invaluable Miranda Devine at The New York Post, adds additional details:

While the president took a long weekend relaxing at the beach in Delaware, another self-imposed crisis blew up in his face.

The migrant shantytown under a concrete overpass in Del Rio, Texas, had ballooned to 15,000 souls, mainly Haitians. They were running out of food and water amid dangerously unsanitary conditions. With a pipeline of hundreds more flooding across the Rio Grande from Mexico every day, a humanitarian disaster was unfolding and the media were starting to pay attention.

On Wednesday, 9,000 had arrived. By Saturday, 6,000 more had crossed the river with no impediment. The border was wide open. There wasn’t even a sign to stop them.

They set up camp in the shade under the International Bridge and soon had overwhelmed the port-a-potties provided by authorities. They were sleeping on the ground under rough tents fashioned from sticks and trash bags, washing their clothes in the river.

The garbage piled up, and some of the migrants took to crossing back into Mexico to buy supplies.

And fleeing back into Mexico when rumors of deportation cropped up, only to return when the rumors turned out to be more Administration lies.

These are not people escaping an earthquake or political unrest or extreme poverty in Haiti, according to one of the most informed border observers, Todd Bensman, senior national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and author of “America’s Covert Border War.”

All the Haitians he has interviewed have been living in Chile or Brazil for the past three to five years.

‘I’ve never met one yet who is actually coming directly from Haiti,’ he said. ‘But they will probably apply for asylum on the basis of [problems] in Haiti.’

Most of them have been living in places like Brazil and Chile for five years or more. The problems in Haiti, a failed state with little but problems, have not been directly affecting them.  They’re not refugees.  Attempts to gain asylum on the basis of Haitian problems is mostly fraudulent, but the Bidenites will allow them to stay in America, just as they’ve allowed unrestricted illegal immigration.

The Haitians now in Del Rio were ‘living a pretty good life [in South America] but they are seeing an opportunity to improve their situation,’ he says.

‘They say they heard Joe Biden was opening the border up so they came.’

Quite logically, these Haitians — who all have cellphones with social-media access — took up Biden’s offer.

And then there was Melugin and Fox, and even people entirely beyond feeling embarrassment and shame recognized a political disaster, beyond their normal daily state of national and international political disaster, in the making.

The announcement came on Saturday. The Department of Homeland Security was going to fly all the Haitians back to Haiti starting at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Sigh of relief. Crisis averted.

But not so fast. That’s not exactly what happened.

According to Bensman and other reporters in Del Rio, Haitians who are eligible for asylum (how long is a piece of string?) are being quietly placed in unmarked buses and onto planes and dispersed to other parts of the United States under a cloak of extreme secrecy.

And what is a “family unit?”  If past practice is predictive, anyone who grabs a nearby kid and claims to be a parent is a family unit.  Not only is there no way to check such things, Bidenites wouldn’t be interested in checking if there were.  So the Bidenites are doing what they’ve always done: lie to the American people and secretly distribute illegals across America.

On Sunday, a nonprofit named Church World Service set up a desk and laptop at the Stripes gas station in Del Rio, which doubles as a Greyhound bus stop, to help migrants buy bus tickets and make travel arrangements to New Jersey, Florida and other locations, according to a reporter on the ground from BorderReport.com.

On Saturday, Immigration and Customs and Enforcement refused to unload two busloads of migrants at a processing center run by another nonprofit, the Val Verde Border Humanitarian Coalition, because the media were photographing them.

But wait a minute.  Wasn’t the Biden Administration supposed to be the most transparent in history?  Didn’t Gropin, sniffin’ Joe promise never to lie to America?

‘The ICE official yelled at media . . . repeatedly,’ according to BorderReport.com, and the buses eventually drove away with the migrants still on board, destination unknown.

Why the secrecy? The American people are entitled to know who is coming into their country. It’s a matter of national security.

‘What’s happening is real-time threats,’ Del Rio’s Democratic mayor, Bruno Lozano, said in a video appeal last week, begging Biden and ‘border tsar’ Vice President Kamala Harris to rescue his town from invasion. He fears COVID-19 and other communicable diseases as well as potential terror threats.

And what about Border Tsar Harris?  She was last—and first—seen near the border at the end of June.  Note that she visited El Paso, which is 424 miles from Del Rio.  There are no plans for our hapless and increasingly invisible Vice President to do anything about the border.  Actually, who cares what Kamala Harris, who can’t consistently pronounce her first name, thinks or does about this or any other issue?

And how do we know the Bidenite’s promise to deport Haitians is a scam?

It turns out just 327 were sent back to Haiti on three flights Sunday, according to a DHS spokesperson. They were reportedly all adult single males. The rest of the 3,300 presumably are family groups who will be processed and released.

As we’ve already discovered, it’s not just “family groups” being released.

Judging by recent history, Bensman says he is certain most of the Haitians camped under the Del Rio bridge will not be deported, even though they are not eligible for asylum because they had work permits and residency in third countries.

‘Chile was 1,000 times better than Haiti,’ one migrant told him.

‘But America is 1 million times better.’

That’s right. The country daily slandered by Democrats as racist is a magnet to black people from around the world. Funny, that.

Funny indeed.  One can’t blame people for trying to live decent lives, but one can blame a President of the United States who does not protect our national sovereignty and national security, and who ignores the law.  And speaking of that sort of thing, as Biden’s handlers have Joe issue unconstitutional vaccine mandates, what of illegals?  Are they being vaccinated?  Breitbart reports:

The White House conceded Monday they were not requiring border crossers to show proof of vaccination, even though the government requires proof of a vaccine or a negative coronavirus test for other travelers into the United States.

When reporters asked about the apparent double standard on vaccination requirements, White House press secretary Jen Psaki argued that illegal immigrants and migrants crossing the border were not intending to stay in the United States.

Riiiiiight.  They’re not intending to stay, which is why they risk death to walk to the border.  They’re planning on taking a brief vacation in America–perhaps on Martha’s Vineyard at the Obama estate?–then promptly walking back wherever they came from.  And Red Jen says such things with a straight face and badly dyed hair.

Final Thoughts:

America is the brokest nation in history.  We’re at least 30 trillion in debt—the actual number is surely much higher—so D/S/Cs want to spend about 6 trillion more on “infrastructure,” which includes “human infrastructure.”  Who knew human beings were roads and bridges?  But Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg tells us roads are racist, and we know all Americans—except the self-imagined elite, of course—are racist, so why can’t human beings be infrastructure too?  Obviously, illegals must be the Administration’s “Build Back Better” plan in the flesh.  That’s D/S/C logic.

There will be short and long-term costs to this purposeful invasion, but hey, we can always print more money!  We’ve got all the paper and ink D/S/Cs need.  Illegals are bringing a plethora of third world diseases, sicknesses we all but eliminated long ago, and they’re absolutely bringing Covid, despite our never-ending national “emergency,” which has thus far required all but destroying our economy and drastically curtailing individual liberty.

Let’s not even talk about how Biden’s handlers have empowered and enriched Mexican and other drug/criminal cartels.  Nah, let’s talk about it.  How does one measure the cost of the human misery, the lost lives, the torture, rape, and murder that are the stock in trade of such demons?  Yet the Bidenites are merrily opening the border to them as they amass vast fortunes in destroying America.  I guess Biden’s handlers think they’re not doing it quickly or completely enough on their own, so they turn to people who are actually competent at their jobs.

The cost of providing housing, medical care, welfare, schooling and other essentials for the two million illegals that will arrive this fiscal year alone—does anyone believe it will be only two million?—will go a long way toward bankrupting the nation, a nation that will see Social Security become entirely insolvent in, at the most optimistic estimate, 13 years.  In the immortal words of Animal House’s Otter: You (actual, natural born Americans) fucked up; you trusted us!

By the way, Federal Fiscal Year 2021 is October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021.  It’s only ten more days to happy fiscal New Year, and two million plus people who don’t need such trifles as lawful citizenship to vote a straight D/S/C ticket.

Bidenites have noticed the American people aren’t terribly easy to fool, nor do they vote the right—left way, the systemically racist bastards.  Barack Obama, explaining one of his many illegal and destructive policies, noted the American People ought to be thanking him for destroying the country.  Contemporary Bidenites have embraced that conceit.  The American people have been such a disappointment to them, so they have decided to abolish the American People, and are importing another, more tractable and grateful, People.  Sure, most of them can’t speak English, their cultures are different, even incompatible with our representative republic, they have all manner of interesting medieval diseases, but most of them will vote the right—left—way, so who cares?

Of course, in enacting such a fundamentally transformative regime, they’re not bothering with things like the law, fiscal sanity, assimilation or even reality.  They’re making their own reality, a better reality, a reality so really real ungrateful Americans can’t so much as imagine its benefits.  And they’re going to make sure we racist, insurrectionist, domestic terrorist, white supremacist, nativist haters get them–good and hard.

UPDATE, 09-26-21, 1645 MT:  The area under the bridge has been bulldozed and all the trash has been spirited away. All the Haitian’s are gone.  If there is no video, there’s no illegal immigration, the Harris/Biden/Whoever Administration–Joe Biden, Temporary president–seems to think.

Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, and various other Administration liars, claimed they would be deporting all those Haitians.  Why, there would be many, many flights every day, just full of them, winging their way back to Haiti.  Right.  Fox News reports:

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas admitted Sunday that the vast majority of Haitian migrants who crossed the southern U.S. border in recent weeks have already been released into the United States, and it is possible that more will follow them.

So far, approximately 12,400 of the people are having their cases heard by immigration judges, while another 5,000 are being processed by the Department of Homeland Security. Currently,, only 3,000 are in detention.

As many as 20,000 more are reported on their way to America.

‘Approximately, I think it’s about ten thousand or so, twelve thousand,’ Mayorkas told ‘Fox News Sunday’ when asked how many have already been released. He then acknowledged that this number could very well go up as the 5,000 other cases are processed.

‘It could be even higher. The number that are returned could be even higher. What we do is we follow the law as Congress has passed it,’ Mayorkas said.

Right.  They’re obeying the law; it’s just not American law.
