Various D/S/C politithugs have, over the years, salivated at the tyranny inherent in the Chinese Communist system they so admire.  Even Barack Obama wistfully observed his job would be sooooo much easier if he could rule like  Chinese Communists.  Unfortunately for them, Americans are a bit touchy about their unalienable, fundamental liberties, so D/S/Cs haven’t been able to come up with a way to turn America into another communist people’s utopia—until now, as Solange Reyner at Newsmax reports:

The White House is working on a COVID-19 vaccine passport initiative that could be required for travel, sporting events and even eating out, reports The Washington Post.

The report comes as major U.S. airlines and nearly 30 travel and labor groups are pushing President Joe Biden to develop a standardized, government-backed credential to ‘accelerate safe economic activity and recovery.’

‘The U.S. must be a leader in this development,’ the groups wrote in a letter to COVID-19 Recovery Team Coordinator Jeff Zients on Monday. ‘The current diverse and fragmented digital health credentials used to implement different countries’ air travel testing requirements risk causing confusion, reducing compliance, and increasing fraud.’

Zients and the Department of Health and Human Services are leading the effort, according to sources who spoke with the Post. The White House declined to answer questions about the initiative and instead directed the news outlet to public statements made by Zients and other officials this month on the topic.

‘Our role is to help ensure that any solutions in this area should be simple, free, open source, accessible to people both digitally and on paper, and designed from the start to protect people’s privacy,’ Zients said at a March 12 briefing.

The initiative has presented multiple challenges for the administration, including data privacy issues and healthcare equity. Additionally, at least 17 other initiatives are already underway.

The Vaccine Credential Initiative, a collaboration between tech and health care companies to develop technology that would store a secure copy of an individual’s vaccination record in a digital wallet on a person’s smartphone, is already in the works.

This “initiative” has been much in the “news” of late.  Reportedly, the Harris Administration is farming this out to big tech, which as all right–left—thinking Americans know has only their best interests at heart.  In so doing, the Harrisites are merely expanding on long standing D/S/C tactics that reached full flower during the Age of Obama.

Let us say you’re an enlightened D/S/C bureaucrat, because there can be no other kind if one is a D/S/C. You want oppressive and costly environmental policies, but can’t get the damned Congress to go along, because the public overwhelmingly opposes fighting existential threats that will obliterate the planet any day now.  How can you get what you want?  Simple: you conspire with environmental groups to sue the government, demanding exactly what you want but can’t legitimately get; it’s called “Sue and Settle.”  You—your agency and the DOJ—cave to their demands and enter into costly consent decrees that funnel truckloads of taxpayer cash to the environmental groups involved.  Those environmental groups in turn donate smaller truckloads of the same cash to D/S/C candidates, and all this comes with plausible deniability: it’s not our fault! We were sued and had to enter into a consent decree to save the taxpayers the cost of defending a losing case!  It’s not us; it’s the courts!  We’re only obeying the law!  You should be thanking us!  Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Oh yes, gentle readers, Sue and Settle was common in those days, and since.  Now the Harrisites have expanded the use of private corporations and groups to get what they want, including suppression of the First Amendment rights of their political opponents, and it only requires conspiring, not suing.  We can’t do a thing about it.  It’s not government silencing the speech of Normal Americans; it’s private enterprise, so the Constitution doesn’t apply!  Harrisites seek similar, plausibly deniable cover by using big tech to do what is Constitutionally prohibited to them.

What’s in it for Big Tech?  Naomi Wolf, a dedicated leftist, but much reviled by them because she makes sense, explains:

‘Vaccine passport’ sounds like a fine thing if you don’t understand what these platforms can do. I’m the CEO of a tech company, I understand what this platform does. It is not about the vaccine or the virus, it is about your data. What people need to understand is that any other functionality can be loaded onto that platform with no problem at all.

What that means is that can be merged with your Paypal account, digital currency, Microsoft is talking about merging it with payment plans, your networks can be sucked up, it geolocates you wherever you go. All of your medical history can be included — this has already happened in Israel.

And six months later, we’re hearing from activists that it is a two-tiered society and basically activists are ostracized and surveiled continually. It is the end of civil society and they are trying to roll it out around the world. It is absolutely so much more than a vaccine pass, it is — I cannot stress enough that it has the power to turn off your life, or to turn on your life, to let you engage in society or be marginalized.

Big Tech will, obviously, get far more data that it can lawfully get now, and that kind of information is not only profit, but power.  And because it’s conspiring with government, it also gets protection from anti-trust litigation and criminal prosecution.  In effect, Google, Facebook, Apple, etc. become even more powerful than government.  What could possibly go wrong?  Who wouldn’t want Silicon Valley leftist nerds having absolute power over us all?  What’s that I seem to recall about power corrupting and absolute power corrupting absolutely?

How will this sort of thing be done for hundreds of millions of Americans?  The talk is of smartphone apps.  But what about those that don’t have smartphones, and yes, such Neanderthals—in Biden speak—exist.  Obviously, there would need to be a massive database with the vaccine information of every American to which smartphones and computers in police vehicles, medical offices, customs checkpoints, restaurants, retail businesses and every bureaucratic office in the land, actually, in the world, could instantly link.  If not, how could the unvaccinated, the unclean, be properly denied the right to exist?

But wait a minute: couldn’t such a database be easily expanded to include not only complete medical information on every American, but any other information big tech/government wanted to include?  With the strokes of a few keys.  You racist!  Big tech and government would never do anything like that, and you can trust them.  We know because they say you can.

Ok then, what about illegals flooding the nation, subsidized by Facebook, which is allowing human smugglers to operate on their platform, and also unwillingly subsidized by all taxpayers, as the government transports them throughout the nation in secret?  Many of them have the virus–to say nothing of a wide variety of other third world contagions–and few, if any, will ever be vaccinated.  Will they have to have a vaccine passport?  How can they, when we don’t even know who they are or where they are?  And how many, fearing deportation, as they should, will comply with such mandates?

If requiring ID to vote is racist and Jim Crow and impossible for people of color to obtain, how can we demand everyone have a vaccine passport?  Isn’t that racist too, or do people of color suddenly become smart enough to obtain vaccine passports even though they are too mentally deficient to obtain and present photo ID at the polls?  Is this racist, anti-racist, or anti-anti-racist-racist?  It’s so hard to keep up…

What about people who don’t want to be vaccinated?  Remember, we’re talking about a virus with a 99%+ survival rate.  Millions, over the years, have died of the seasonal flu, yet millions of Americans choose not to take yearly flu shots.  Do Americans actually have a choice in such matters, or only a government regulated privilege, which Harrisites have just discovered? Are the unwilling to be forced to take the Covid vaccine?  Grabbed by federal health thugs—or perhaps they’d be big tech health thugs?—strapped down and forcibly injected?  And if they are given the option to refuse, which is kind of, I don’t know, constitutional, are they to be denied travel, access to businesses, restaurants, and other necessities of daily life?  Oh dear, gentle readers, imagine the size and powers of the federal bureaucracy necessary to implement all of this.  You can’t?  The Harrisites surely can, and besides, what’s another trillion or ten these days?

All of this is chillingly familiar to observant Christians.  Consider this from Revelation 13:16-18:

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Am I saying Joe Biden or Kamala Harris are the Anti-Christ?  Am I saying the prophecy of Revelation is being enacted by the Harrisites?  Of course not.  I’m only observing a rather eerie technological parallel to Revelation, a parallel I’m sure is not lost on Christians, but is very much lost on, or ignored by, D/S/Cs.

What’s ultimately going on is a never-ending attempt to seize ultimate political power.  Control of the health care of Americans is control of their very lives.  In this case, the political response to the pandemic has given would-be despots near absolute power.  They don’t want to surrender that, rather, they want to expand on it, make it permanent, which is why so many “health experts” and politicians are demanding we wear multiple masks, and predicting we’ll never get back to “normal,” that our current state of subjugation may well be permanent—for our own good, of course.

It’s interesting that one Dr. Leana Wen, former Baltimore Health Commissioner, and very much a “health expert” and CNN commentator, accidentally gave away the game during a March 10 appearance with Chris Coumo:

LEANA WEN: My main concern is that we’re not going to reach herd immunity because of vaccine hesitancy. And I know that’s hard for a lot of people to believe, who desperately want the vaccine right now, and they’re thinking, ‘oh, it’s just a small percentage of people who are actually anti-vaxxers,’ and that’s true, there’s the anti-science, anti-vaxxer contingent.

But there are many more people, millions of people who for whatever reason have concerns about the vaccine, who just don’t know what’s in it for them.

And we need to make it clear to them that the vaccine is the ticket back to pre-pandemic life.

And the window to do that is really narrowing. You were mentioning about how all these states are reopening. They’re reopening at 100%.

And we have a very narrow window to tie reopening policy to vaccination status.

Because otherwise, if everything is reopened, then what’s the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine?

So that’s why I think the CDC and Biden administration needs to come out a lot bolder and say, ‘If you are vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms you have.’

Because otherwise, people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway, and I fear a situation of coming into the Fall where we never reach herd immunity, and then we get hit by the next surge of COVID-19 in the fall. Something we could have prevented, if we just got people vaccinated now.

Right.  Say, who is responsible for “vaccine hesitancy?”  Could it possibly be Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, et al, who during the campaign implied any vaccine developed under Trump–which was impossible because developing vaccines had to take many, many years–would immediately kill anyone injected?  Now its: no freedom for you, stupid Deplorables, unless you do what we say!  All must take the completely safe vaccine we–not the evil Trump–developed.  We need to grab Normals by the secondary sexual characteristics before the window closes, and never let go!  But it’s all Deplorable hysteria.  Our benevolent federal government would never do anything like that, says Harrisite spokesthug, Red Jen Psaki:

Let me be very clear on this. I know there’s been lots of questions. The government is not now, nor will we be supporting, a system that requires Americans to carry a credential,’ she said during the White House press briefing.

Psaki pointed to corporations in the private sector exploring the idea of a vaccine passport for certain events or economic activities.

‘As these tools are being considered by the private and nonprofit sectors, our interest is very simple from the federal government, which is Americans’ privacy and rights should be protected and so that these systems are not used against people unfairly,’ she said.

Oh of course!  Harrisites will work with big tech only to ensure our rights are upheld, the rights they’ve withheld for more than a year and are so, so reluctant to give back. Government has abridged our rights, seized power reserved for the people, and Americans went along because they believed they were acting for the good of everyone.  Americans are selfless like that, despite being the irredeemable, horrible, evil racists inhabiting a systemically racist, unspeakably horrible country.  We now know better, so when Government spokesthugs tell us they’re all about protecting our rights…
