Gentle readers, I originally planned to write an impassioned plea on behalf of the President today, a last ditch attempt to change hearts and minds. Then I realized I had a great many goodies that would be outdated on Nov. 4—or sometime thereafter—and I also realized humor is often far more effective than mere rhetoric.
I’ll add only this: in 2016, I voted against Hillary Clinton. I’m not a Republican or a Democrat, nor am I an independent. I’m a constitutionalist. I know the preservation of the Constitution, unique in all of human history, and its willing support among Americans is the preservation of America. Failing that, our all too brief experiment in constitutional republicanism is over. That would be calamity, not only for Americans, but for the world.
Knowing Hillary Clinton to be a corrupt Marxist, I would have voted for a ham sandwich to deny her the White House. I had little hope Donald Trump would honor the Constitution, but I hoped he’d do far less damage then Barack Obama. I also suspected, like virtually all politicians, he wouldn’t keep his promises. I was, happily, wrong on both counts.
Trump has not only done no damage to the Constitution, he has upheld it, appointed judges that will strengthen it, and made significant progress in restoring the rule of law. Despite being under relentless attack, he has kept his promises, accomplished extraordinary things and rolled back much of the damage of the Obamites. I knew he was an accomplished businessman, routinely doing things before deadline and below budget, but he has proved himself a president capable of that and more. More, he honestly loves America and Americans.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, is not only suffering from dementia—is there a greater disqualifier from public office? (apparently not for D/S/Cs)—he has a 47 year history of accomplishing nothing of consequence, and of being dead, disastrously wrong on every issue of consequence. Worse, he won’t tell the American people how he stands on court packing—he said we don’t deserve to know–which is actually telling us how he stands on court packing, and the polices to which he admits would turn America into Venezuela–fast. Of course, it will be absolutely necessary to cripple or eliminate the Constitution to pull that off. Worse, D/S/Cs are actually voting for Kamala Harris, a dedicated Marxist, for president and they know it. They’re pulling a bait and switch with the presidency. Finally, Biden doesn’t love America or Americans. How can a man that wants to fundamentally change both?
D/S/Cs are for Biden, the media—I know; same thing—are for Biden, the Deep State is for Biden, Antifa and BLM are for Biden, illegal immigrants are for Biden, China and Iran and Russia are for Biden. You know what to do. Onward then to the day-before-the-beginning-of-the-election edition of the Funnies! Oh yeah, this absolutely has to go…
