Virtual kneeling for the national anthem?!  That really says it all about the D/S/C Party, circa 2020, doesn’t it?

Gentle readers, I watched about half of the first two nights of the DNC Convention.  It was all I could manage, and I will not need a tranquilizer again—ever.  I am in good company in suggesting it was deadly dull, and as you’re about to see, most D/S/Cs agreed with me.  I’ll provide some of the liveblogging from the PJ Media folks, some other observation, and a bit of commentary.  You’ll thank me later for not going at this one in any detail.

Twitter is claiming it was just an accident, they mistook the Bee for spam.  Suuuuure it was.

Nah, MTV’s production values were more professional.

Are they that stupid?

Hmmmmm…

D/S/Cs lying?  No.  I can’t believe it.

The entire primary process was about who could get leftest fastest, and Joe won, not that he remembers any of that…

Who wouldn’t want to vote for less liberty, less prosperity, more taxes, beating up on nuns and no law and order?

Ouch, but sooooo true.

Yeah, what about that?  Nary a word.

Well, they certainly have the numbers.  Now about those polls showing Biden running away with this thing…

Could Bernie look any crazier?

Yeah!  Log diversity!  No logs, no peace!

Well, calling half of Americans “Deplorables” worked for Hillary Clinton…

I don’t know about you, gentle readers, but I’ve never seen such enthusiasm.  The first night ended without any actual discussion of the D/S/C platform.  Orange man bad, to be sure, over and over again, but for what do they stand and why is that good?  Or is this intentional?  If they’re smart enough to know public knowledge of their actual beliefs and intentions is deadly, why is Joe Biden the nominee?  This pretty much sums up the first night (love the Babylon Bee)”

This pretty much sums up the state of reality circa August 18, 2020, though I’m weeping rather than laughing:

On to Night two of maximum overdrive excitement, with a lead in by ABC:

Insane indeed.  I agree, but if Joe is elected, she’ll be outdoing Nancy Reagan feeding real time answers to Joe…

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
― Samuel Adams

This was always the theme:

Trump’s a dictator, except he didn’t dictate to the states, and now he’s being blamed for their bad decisions…

Tracee Ellis Ross: whodat?

Chuck Schumer talking about dignity?!

That’s what I thought too…

Talk about irony…

Yup.  That’s one of Epstein’s—who didn’t kill himself—victims giving the Horndog In Chief a massage during a trip on the Lolita Express.  Considering the reality of gropin’, sniffin’ Joe, perhaps Bubba is not the best choice to endorse Joe?

In an earlier time, we use to call this “lying”…

This one struck me as oddly manipulative too, but D/S/Cs are in the habit of using very uncomfortable military members as props…

The states pledged their everlasting love and ballots to Gropin’ Joe via recorded messages.  This—other than the American Samoa gig—was the oddest:

Well, he respects them enough to sniff and grope them…

I hope not enough actual voters to overcome the cheating…

There are not sufficient insults to adequately describe John Kerry…

Yeah, well, that’s different because shut up…

Yes she did, and that’s always been the theme too…

And the second night ends as the first night did: orange man bad, and we’re not going to tell you about our platform because sane people know it’s insane.  America’s D/S/C-ruled cities are aflame, lawless, and their maximum leaders respond by trying to do away with the police.  A popular D/S/C meme is silence is complicity.  They were absolutely silent on restoring law and order, or in any way, disapproving of riot, arson, destruction of property and mass violence.

Oh, this would be delightful:

Perhaps more on the rest of the convention, gentle readers, if I recover in time.
