Even in times of crisis, there are great blessings. There are also great truths that just happen to be enormously ironic…

Nah.  That would make too much sense…

As opposed to making none at all…

Absence apparently does make the heart grow fonder, or at least less aggravated…

So what’s your point?

Life saving?

Now, now, there’s no cause for name calling…on the other hand…

And I won’t talk about the Kung Flu either…

As a matter of fact, it would be mandatory…

Signs of the Apocalypse

Can’t you just feel his pain?

Her pain, not so much…

Let’s see, that’s 20 seconds, 40, 60…uh…

Could be…

So that’s what this is…

Another blessing…

Semper fidelis…

We all have to make sacrifices…

If you’re an English teacher, or a grammar scold in general, you’ll like this one (I think there ought to be two; it enhances readability)…

The cartoonist obviously hates free speech…

Wasn’t this guy a famous basketball player?

Gotta be loyal to something…

The glories of entrepreneurship…

Heck, that was just self-reservation…

Actually, the cat that allows us to live in her house is pretty pleased with all the pets…

We could use some cute about now…

As the national toilet paper shortage shows no sign of abating anytime soon, we are faced with a real coincidence.  America has some time on its hands, so it’s a perfect time for some engaging reading.  Congress finally got off it’s collective ass and passed a rescue bill, so most of us will have a few bucks coming, so buying a copy of License to Kill will not only take care of your reading needs, but the book is made of…paper!  Perhaps buying more than one would be wise?  Think of all the friends you could make, or hang out in front of grocery stores and barter on two levels simultaneously!

If you get it—the book directly through the publisher, I’ll make a few cents more than if you get it at Amazon. It’s $17.99 at either source, and Amazon has a $4.99 Kindle edition, which won’t be so good for…you know.  I always appreciate your comments here at SMM, and comments about the book at Amazon would be even more appreciated.  I’m not a disgraced, semi-god-like D/S/C politician, so I don’t have a huge publishing house behind the book, spending millions to publicize it. Positive comments on Amazon make a real difference.  Go here to comment.

I’ll see you next Sunday for the Funnies, and hopefully, every day in between
