Beto “I’m a Fake Hispanic” O’Rourke keeps providing inadvertent public services. In a desperate attempt to revive an already drowned presidential campaign, he keeps making more and more alarming pronouncements about destroying our must cherished and fundamental, unalienable, express liberties: the First and Second Amendments. This is alarming to normal Americans who revere the Constitution and the rule of law because those amendments are part of the foundation of our representative republic, the one Benjamin Franklin and the other Founders gave us, “if you [we] can keep it.” It’s alarming to D/S/Cs because he’s giving away the farm. He’s telling the truth—our loud!—about exactly what the D/S/Cs have intended to do forever, and absolutely will do if and when they again seize power. That sort of thing just might bring a sufficient number of Deplorables to the polls to overcome any amount of vote fraud. Trump might win again. The horror.
As I’m sure you know, gentle readers, Beto plans to eliminate the tax exemptions of religious organizations, including churches, unless they adopt the holy doctrine of LGBTQWERTY, and praise it in every way possible. His fellow D.S/Cs plan to eliminate such organizations entirely as an impediment to diversity and inclusion. How dare they believe anything not D/S/C doctrine! Even worse, how dare they actually act on their silly, non-woke beliefs!
D/S/C contempt for the Constitution has a moral dimension, as Rod Dreher at The American Conservative, explains:
As John Adams put it: ‘We have no government armed with the power which is capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.’
Dreher writes in response to Attorney General William Barr’s recent speech at the Notre Dame Law School:
Finally, he exhorts lawyers to fight for religious liberty in the public square. He concludes with:
‘I can assure you that as long as I am Attorney General, the Department of Justice will be at the forefront of this effort, ready to fight for the most cherished of all our American liberties: the freedom to live according to our faith.’
Let me simply say that as we religious conservatives are thinking about how to vote in the election next fall, we should ponder the fact that under Donald Trump, as awful as he is in so many ways, a man of William Barr’s convictions is heading up the Department of Justice. Thank God Bill Barr is there. It is inconceivable that any Democratic president would put a man like him in charge of the Justice Department. In fact, we are getting a good idea that a Democratic president would likely choose his precise opposite.
If religious liberty is the most important public issue to you — and, as a religious believer, should it not be? — then the Barr speech should be front to mind as you consider voting. The state cannot give us meaning, but it can maintain the spaces necessary for us to discover meaning. Or not. This is important. This is very, very important.
Take the link and read Dreher’s entire article, which has a link to Barr’s speech, which must also be read. Barr is the kind of person—dedicated to the Constitution and rule of law—with who Mr. Trump surrounds himself. This is also why D/S/Cs hate him so much. and want to destroy him—and Americans that support him—at any cost.
And in The Washington Examiner, we learn—as if we didn’t know—of the desperation and utter lack of character of Rep. Adam Schiff (D: “Trump is in my head; he’s in my head!”), who is lying even when his lips aren’t moving, as he pursues tries to manufacture evidence against President Trump.
In a secret interview, Rep. Adam Schiff, leader of the House Democratic effort to impeach President Trump, pressed former United States special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker to testify that Ukrainian officials felt pressured to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter as a result of Trump withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine.
Volker denied that was the case, noting that Ukrainian leaders did not even know the aid was being withheld and that they believed their relationship with the U.S. was moving along satisfactorily, without them having done anything Trump mentioned in his notorious July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
When Volker repeatedly declined to agree to Schiff’s characterization of events, Schiff said, “Ambassador, you’re making this much more complicated than it has to be.
Do, gentle readers, also take the link and read this entire article. The utter lack of decency, morality, and ethics on the part of D/S/Cs is on sorry display. Another attempt—in secret—to implicate Trump also blew up in their collective faces, as Ed Morrissy at Hot Air.Com reports:
Impeachment, as it turns out, cuts any number of ways. In their attempt to prove that Donald Trump tried to strongarm Ukraine into digging up dirt on Joe Biden, House Democrats dug some up on their own. The Washington Post reports that a career State Department officer tried to warn officials in the Obama administration about the conflict of interest that Hunter Biden’s work created in Ukraine and with efforts to target corruption. When those warnings reached the Vice President’s office in early 2015, Biden’s team shut them down:
A career State Department official overseeing Ukraine policy told congressional investigators this week that he had raised concerns in early 2015 about then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son serving on the board of a Ukrainian energy company but was turned away by a Biden staffer, according to three people familiar with the testimony.
George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary of state, testified Tuesday that he worried that Hunter Biden’s position at the firm Burisma Holdings would complicate efforts by U.S. diplomats to convey to Ukrainian officials the importance of avoiding conflicts of interest, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of confidentiality rules surrounding the deposition.
Kent said he had concerns that Ukrainian officials would view Hunter Biden as a conduit for currying influence with his father, said the people. But when Kent raised the issue with Biden’s office, he was told the then-vice president didn’t have the “bandwidth” to deal with the issue involving his son as his other son, Beau, was battling cancer, said the people familiar with his testimony.
The timing on this is very instructive. Supposedly Biden didn’t have the ‘bandwidth’ in early 2015 to deal with the problem, but by late 2015 Biden was all over it — by his own admission. Last year, Biden bragged to the Council of Foreign Relations about how he’d used the leverage of a billion dollars in US aid in December 2015 to get then-Ukraine president Petro Poroshenko to fire his general prosecutor, over Biden’s dissatisfaction with progress in anti-corruption probes:
For those not familiar with it, here’s Gropin’ Joe’s admission:
‘BIDEN: Well, I was, not I, but it just happened to be that was the assignment I got. I got all the good ones. And so I got Ukraine. And I remember going over convincing our team, our, others to convincing that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, try to guess the 12th, 13th time to Kiev, and I was going to, supposed to announce that there was another billion dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor, and they didn’t. So they said they had, they were walking out to a press conference, and I said no, I said I’m not going to, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said. I said call him. I said I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said you’re not getting the billion, and I’m going to be leaving here, and I think it was what, six hours. I looked. I said I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.’
According to Kent’s testimony, this was months after the State Department career officer warned that Biden’s involvement would create a conflict of interest.
Take the link for the whole thing. And if that wasn’t enough, the latest D/S/C accusation of Trump’s incompetence, treason and overall perfidy has just blown up in their faces too, as Reuters reports:
Turkey agreed on Thursday to pause its offensive in Syria for five days to let Kurdish forces withdraw from a ‘safe zone’ Ankara had sought to capture, in a deal hailed by the Trump administration and cast by Turkey as a complete victory.
The truce was announced by U.S. Vice President Mike Pence after talks in Ankara with Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan, and was praised by President Donald Trump, who said it would save ‘millions of lives’.
Most of the American Media is studiously avoiding reporting on this development because it doesn’t well fit with their “Trump is destroying the world!” narrative. In reality, the United States have never promised to provide eternal protection to any qroup of Kurds, and temporarily allying with a nation or group out of national interest does not imply or grant a mutual defense treaty.
The media also does its best to ignore the enormous, enormously enthusiastic crowds attending every rally President Trump holds. His most recent Dallas rally was an example:
Finally for this article, D/S/C’s Trump Derangement Syndrome was on full display at the death of Rep. Elijah Cummins when Mr. Trump made this outrageous, racist tweet:
D/S/C antipathy toward Mr. Trump is all about honor and unlimited love for the Constitution, the rule of law, America and Americans. Right.
