When Senate Minority Leader, vicious partisan, ruthless self-promoter, and all-around nasty piece of work Chuck Schumer (D: NY) praises a Republican for their political acumen and purity, is that a good thing–for the Republican, that is? The subject was the pivotal role Sen. John McCain (RINO: AZ) played in killing the most minimal Obamacare repeal in the senate on 27 July, 2017. PJ Media reports:

And the credit goes to a lot of people, but at the top of the list are the three who showed amazing courage to resist the pressure and do what’s good for the country. John McCain at the top of the list,’ Schumer, who hugged McCain after the vote, said. He and I have been friends for a very long time, ever since the Gang of Eight which we put together. And I have not seen a senator who speaks truth to power as strongly, as well and as frequently as John McCain. The very same courage he showed as a naval aviator in Vietnam, he showed last night and has shown time and time again. He’s just a wonderful man. I treasure his friendship and just the fact of knowing him.’

‘I’ve known a few great men in the Senate. I’d put Ted Kennedy in that category and Danny Inouye. And I’d put John McCain in that category too,’ he added. “And certainly not to be forgotten, of equal praise are Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. They were amazing. And women are in so many instances stronger than men. They brag less about it, but they are. And last night sort of proved that.

Most Republicans would not consider the praise of Chuck Schumer to be conducive to their political health. Ted Kennedy was a murderer, notorious drunk, woman abuser and a traitor. But did Schumer know how McCain was going to vote, even thought his fellow Republicans did not and were shocked by his betrayal?

The Dem leader would not say whether he knew beforehand how McCain was going to vote. ‘I can tell you, John and I talked four or five times each day since he came back. And I had a lot of discussions with him. But I’m going to leave it at that,’ he said. ‘…John McCain is blessed with an internal gyroscope of right and wrong.

Oh, he’s blessed alright, not least by his membership in the Schumer/McCain mutual admiration society. In case, gentle readers, you’re not up on Senator Schumer’s character, visit Chuck Schumer, A Football, and Charlie Brown Republicans:

Prior to Mr. Trump, progressives suppressed their most deranged and violent tendencies, which are routinely given free reign in foreign socialist/communist nations, but no more. Observe, gentle readers, the public behavior of the progressive Senate Minority leader, via Fox News:

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., caused a scene at a Manhattan restaurant when he began yelling at a wealthy and well-connected Donald Trump supporter that the POTUS is ‘a liar.

Chuck Schumer, daring to call anyone a liar? The classic definition of chutzpah is someone that murdered his parents asking a judge for mercy because he’s an orphan. Schumer just surpassed that.

Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, lost his cool on Sunday night at Upper East Side restaurant Sette Mezzo, according to witnesses.

He was dining with friends when he encountered Joseph A. Califano Jr. — the former U.S. secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson — and his wife, Hilary, who were having a quiet dinner.

But of course that’s the perfect venue for engaging in a red-faced, spittle-slinging political rant. New York values, you know. It’s interesting to note that witnesses confirmed that Schumer was yelling “she voted for Trump,” in the restaurant, and followed the Califanos outside, screaming:

”How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!’ He kept repeating, ‘He’s a liar.

McCain also earned the fulsome praise of notorious media liar Brian Williams.

I’m sure Senator McCain is very proud. I’m equally sure Sen. Schumer, who engaged in the most rigorous decorum and, following the Senate vote, practiced the kind of calm, dignified restraint one normally sees only at Jello wrestling matches and dog fights is laughing himself silly.
