Imagine you are a 13-year-old researching a project for school. You write to someone billed as an expert on your chosen topic and ask a few basic, and very polite questions. Imagine that expert returns the letter and instead of answering the questions, launches into an exceedingly rude political diatribe. What would you think of such a person?
Joshuapundit, a fellow member of The Watcher’s Council, answers that question. The student was an Israeli girl. The topic was the historic development of horses. The horse’s posterior was one Dr. Marsha Levine.
By all means, take the link and see for yourself. Your opinion of Dr. Levine is encouraged. Let us all, as always, however, discourse with the civil decency she so obviously lacks.
Wow, what a slap in the face! I wonder if this person could be more cretinous.
I’ve said before “none are so intolerant as those who preach tolerance”.
Dear Marty:
Indeed. Projection: it’s everywhere.
Wow. So irrational, as well as crass. Some people just don’t feel right at all unless they feel superior to a whole lot of other folk.
I suspect that drives a lot of politically motivated behavior, particularly on the left. But perhaps I am projecting! ;-)
Dear Joel C:
Nah. Projecting, no. Defining, yes.
