Where Barack Obama is concerned, I nearly–nearly–have total outrage burnout. He has told so many lies, so abused our allies and helped our enemies, so damaged America and Americans, and has been involved in so many scandals of the kind that would have caused the impeachment and conviction of virtually anyone else, that we’re all exhausted. When he says or does something insane or outrageous, most Americans merely shrug and say “so what else is new?”

But this one is something special.  In a radio interview with Marc Maron–a minor Los Angeles comedian–Mr. Obama had this to say:

The legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination in almost every institution of our lives — that casts a long shadow, and that’s still part of our DNA that’s passed on. We’re not cured of it,’ Obama told Maron in the host’s garage studio in Los Angeles.

‘… And it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say nigger in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don’t overnight completely erase everything that happened 200, 300 years prior.

Here we see why, in just over six years, Barack Obama has been able to dash, even reverse, the calm equilibrium of race in America. He’s all but irreparably damaged more than a half-century of actual change and acceptance. Keep in mind he did this interview without the TOTUS (Teleprompter Of The United States), which means he was actually speaking his mind rather than the minds of his handlers and speechwriters.

If we accept him at his word, and I suspect this is one of the few times we may be reasonably assured he is telling the truth about his beliefs, we can now understand whiz base motivation: he’s a racist. Racism and a love of slavery is part of American DNA? It’s in our very genetic makeup to be viciously racist? All Americans? I’ve no doubt he believes that, and his actions certainly reflect that bizarre, hateful belief.

One wonders why he would want to be president of such a cruel, inhuman nation? And if he’s right, if racism is truly bred into our very molecular makeup, how did he ever get elected president–twice? And if all Americans are racist, are all blacks racist as well, or must we all understand, as his Department of Justice does, that racism may only be committed by white people against black people?

Notice too the usual straw men he constructs. Absent the need to be polite, white people would surely be calling black people “nigger,” but they don’t; they’re sneaky those white people. They cleverly hide their racism encoded in their DNA, and nothing, not even the passage of centuries can eradicate it.

I’m not playing the game anymore. I have no guilt to expiate. I’ll not defend myself against vague charges of racism because all white people must be racist. I reject that premise and demand that any idiot crying racism be able, then and there, to prove, with fact, not assumption, that a specific person did something that was unquestionably, actually motivated by race for the purpose of harming another. No innuendo, no assumption, no unsupportable assertions–fact. No more quietly accepting the slander of an entire race of unsuspecting, well-meaning people who hold no hatred for anyone.

I’ve always lived my life by Dr. Martin Luther King’s admonition to judge everyone not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I suspect most–virtually all–Americans of every race do the same.

The civil rights movement won.  Their victory has long ago been willingly embraced by Americans.  The few actual racists that exist are justly social pariahs, unwelcome anywhere in decent company.  Yet Mr. Obama tries to inject racism into our very DNA. This must be the fundamental transformation of America about which he and his idiot minions talk so much.

Barack Obama does not judge others by the content of their character. He imagines he can see into their DNA.  That says all we need know about his character.

UPDATE, 062415, 1345 CST: The New Black Panthers, who intimidated white voters in the 2012 election, and whose case was dismissed by the Obama Justice Department after it had already been won, said to those white voters, among other vile threats:

You’re about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.

Courtesy of the Washington Post, here’s additional insight into the thinking of Mr. Obama and his advisors. This is how they see race relations in America:

Few anticipated that his presence in the White House would become a flashpoint for racial anxiety as well. ‘If you are a white man in America, this country is changing dramatically. You have always been in charge,’ said a senior administration official who spoke on the condition of anonymity be candid. ‘So there is something to white men feeling like something has been taken away from them.

Very few Americans see governance as a matter of race or tribe. They could care less if the President is a woman, a black person, an Indian, a Jew, an Arab, a Hispanic, or any other combination. They do, however, expect that America remain a nation that works on the rule of law with equal justice for all.

As a man who, due to an accident of birth, happens to be white, it has never occurred to me to feel comfort or reassurance in that the government has been run primarily by white people. I expect it only because white people have historically been the majority in the nation, but their whiteness means nothing to me. Character, competence and fidelity to the Constitution matter.  I worry about Barack Obama because he has proved, and is proving more and more each day, that he is not a president who happens to be black, but he is a black president. He rules for the benefit of his race, his tribe, and sees the world in those terms.

One that thinks that way cannot uphold and defend the Constitution. He cannot believe in the rule of law and equal justice for all. Those duties and concepts are foreign to him.

I would be as alarmed by a president whose actions and words declared him to be a white president rather than a president who happened to be white. I do indeed feel that something is being taken away from me, but it is not the benefits–God only knows what they might be in the warped imagination of racists like Mr. Obama–of white rule. It is the protection of the rule of law and equal justice for all.
