When we are young, time is infinite and passes slowly. When we’re getting to the age when we are beginning to figure things out, when we’re really beginning to become competent human beings, and perhaps, even a little wise, tempus fugit–time flies.
Tomorrow is promised to none of us, and those of us still here to read these scribblings have earned every minute passed, every ache and pain, every heartache and moment of joy, and we are responsible for every act of kindness and love we created–or did not create.
As 2015 arrives and all before it becomes history, may we take a moment to reflect on what really matters, and on our futures, however long they may be. May you live every moment well, strive mightily, experience great passion, love deeply and die secure in the knowledge you did well and left this fallen world a better place.
From Mrs. Manor, who is far, far more than I deserve, and Mushi the Manor cat who allows us to live here, a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
