It’s not difficult. The only way to deter school shooters is to arm willing school staff with concealed weapons and continually publicize that fact, including with appropriate signs. The only way to stop a school shooter that is not deterred is to be able to shoot them, when and where they attack, preferably through the application of multiple bullets from the guns of multiple good guys. But until sufficient legislators, school officials and school board members understand this, a number of companies are doing their best to take advantage of what they hope is a large and lucrative market for various bullet resistant devices. I wrote about one about a year ago: bullet resistant whiteboards.
But there is now a new product promising to save the lives of children: a bullet resistant blanket that costs only $1000. The good folks over at The Truth About Guns have published my article on this new attempt at marketing.
If you have a few minutes, it may be worth your time.
