What do liberal gun owners think about conservative gun owners? What’s that you say? Is there really such a thing as a liberal gun owner?
So it would seem…
My most recent article at The Truth About Guns deals with precisely that topic, or more specifically, ABC’s recent article on liberal gun owners. For ABC, it’s remarkably even-handed, but they just can’t keep anti-freedom stereotypes and attitudes from creeping in.
In this case, one of my primary concerns is how anyone can support the Second Amendment while simultaneously supporting politicians determined to destroy it, and to disarm the law-abiding. But perhaps support for the Second Amendment can be a starting point for support for the entire Constitution and general principles of individual liberty.
I suspect you’ll find the article, and the comments, interesting.
Hello, Mike… and everyone else:
You must read this to believe it:

So there’s actually a bond for aiding and abetting terrorism? Wow! How silly of me to believe otherwise if the accused is a Prog…
Good read, Mike!
Stereotypes of conservatives run strong among liberals, as evidenced by both the writer and subject of the ABC article – and further illustrated by the comments in that article.
I would guess that every gun enthusiast/gun-rights supporter I know would gladly go to the range with anyone in one of the mentioned “liberal” gun groups. Do you practice safe gun-handling practices? Do you enjoy shooting? Cool! Let’s go.
And I can say with absolute certainty that we would, without hesitation, stand shoulder-to-shoulder, back-to-back with any one of them, if forced to defend our rights.
Dear Chip:
What you said.
